Dragonhero: there is a mod-folder in your mygames\galciv2-directory, I don't know how far it works wih the latest patch, but after 1.2 everything can be placed there and no update will overwrite your data. Btw. there is no automatic update, you still have to confirm you want to install it/trigger the installation.

Simply typ in your resolution in your prefs.ini this file is located in mydocuments\my games\galciv2
Destabilization isn't included in the release.
You can set a waypoint next to your planet and then say this planet to move the ships automatically to this point.
You have several special hulls in the shipdesigner. You have another box. You have a papertechtree in the box. You spend more money.
You can edit the prefs.ini in your my documents\my games\galciv2-directory
There is a random event giving you such a ship (maybe the event gives you more than one, I don't know). It can also happen to you gaining such a great ship.
Just to give a overview for those wondering which medals are there: http://metaverse.galciv2.com/index.aspx?g=legend
Think of it, how would you control it? Create dutystations all over the galaxy? It's open space, no mointains, not roads where you could collect the money. Btw. please reread your posts, they are very hard to read because of typos and missing punctuation characters.
Hi, only some lines on the Metaverse and why I don't like it the way it works at the moment. Started games don't count When you create a Metaversegame you can restart it as often as you like, you can play the position you find ideal for your game, so huge bonuses, near planets and so on. If you don't like the postition, you can use ctrl-n to recreate everything. Now why is this bad? Because for me it's some kind of cheating, the games are run at optimal conditi
Hi, I only wanted to drop some lines on the AI, I notices some thing that could/should be changed. I know you Stardockians are full of work, but maybe some things might be possible to be changed in one of the next releases. Transporterrush In tiny and small and sometimes medium sized galaxies you can easily win by fast researching planetary invasion and then build some transporters, you only have to research one or two (depends on the map) techs of live s

Only an idea, but there is a wiki, if everyone uses this with care it can be very very usefull for such lists.
Hello, I only wanted to adress the bug of GC2 on non-English Windowssystems again. For those who don't know what I'm talking about, GC2 isn't working correctly on systems not having the English numbersettings (1,000.00), it simply ignores all textures, so planets are black dots, ships mostly invisible and so on. AFAIK the problem is found (anything apart from 1,000.00 in the windowssettings destroys the textures) and the solution is also found: Compress the .x-files.<b
That's called "tactical view" simply scroll into the view again by using your mousewheel
Even with moneycheat and all tech, you cannot build more than one ship per turn, so there has to be much more cheating than these two, how to get 16 constructors in one turn? Shure you may add them also by cheating, but sorry, you really wonder you can cheat when cheating in cheatingmode?
Look at the money, researching techvictory in the second turn and the date. so how much did you edit? Or is it a bad made fake-image?
I can only write what I did. I installed the game and then went to startdoc central, there you can register your account and you can also register for stardockproducts, there I entered the gameserial (not the GC2-one, that's the serial for the bonuscontent). after this you can bring sdc to send you a serial, this was a third serial, so one of the two of the back of the manual. THIS serial worked fine for my acitvation. in short: gameserial -> sdc-registration -> receive sdc-seria
There is a sig.bin in your installationdirectory, delete this file and then reactivate your game.
Hi Franco, not all things depend on the gamingskill, let's take the range of the ships as example. When researching the first two lifesupporttechs, you get a initial range (without lifesupport-pods build in the ships) to nearly cross a map of middle size. Such things are independent of the skill to play, they are things being noticed. Things like "all techs should give you something apart from providing access to new techs" are also independent from the gamingskill <img src="http://im
I guess he mean using the button for automatically load the last saved game. So like starting the game, pressing continue and he autoloads the last game. Most games use a continue button like this.
Browse through your planets and take a look at the detailed-page. They do something.
