Makes sense - though, we're allowed to change our build queue at any time before the item is completed, and it would be nice to have that option with spells. I'm super geeked to hear about those fixes/changes! Watched part of the livestream last night and LOVE the new art. ALL of it.
The Commander's "reveal champions" skill didn't seem to work either. And somehow I've stopped researching spells (probably on a reload, it has happened before). I wish when you clicked on the "lore" part of your orb it took you to spells you can research instead of spells you can cast!
Agreed - I don't generally have a lot of champions, and usually have plenty of unusable weapons!
I am glad to hear it! Hope this also fixes the reload bug that sets population to zero.
Loading Autosave reduced my food and production in Athica... AND reset my population to 0. Still a level 4 town, but it'll take a lot longer to build up!
I prefer minors to stay minor - non-expansion distinguishes them from your kingdom, which is the last, best hope to stop SK.

I started a new game tonight, but Morrigan's Call still isn't updating to the number of death shards... waited many turns... and I was so proud of my 6 death shards.
I am LOVING the Dead. Made a custom faction with Corruption, and now Morrigan's Call is the best. Having units with undying curse AND ethereal? I get 6-person units that take half of physical damage. This is early-game, too, so I've been wrecking house. My style has always been to build NO units (henchmen or binding instead), but the Dead have converted me to army-builder. Thanks, Derek!
I was just about to post on this... my city growth is non-zero, but often not in line with my number of death shards. My capital maxed out at +3 growth from Morrigan's Call even when I had 6 shards. In fact, I believe it dipped to +2 growth at some point. That made me wonder if there was a food-like effect, that I didn't have enough extra graves to allow for growth, but there was no change after I built some more.
Yep, I just came back to add that, noticed it while playing tonight! That effect makes haste one of my best spells...
