Great job guys. Looking better and better. I have still noticed a couple of issues with tactical combat (though cannot say how to reliably reproduce, sorry): Still see occasions where units will attack, show no damage number (or "hit" sounds) yet the unit takes damage. Unit says dodge or block, but still takes damage Damage received is different from the damage shown on the screen. These are a lot better in 1.09p, but

This link has information on how to manually update your faction colors outside of the game.
The update 1.09n is considered a "beta" update. You must have your options setup in Impulse to allow notification/update of beta or pre-release updates (cannot remember exact text).
Sounds great from what is there. I had one question based on how the AI will makes its decisions. Does the Player Strategic AI thread take the Faction's "personality" into account when making decisions? Or will it simply make the "best" decision? For example, will all AIs decide to research or build up more military if the Human starts building up military or will military factions focus on military and diplomacy factions focus on diplomacy? Or this this more of a "d
8. The AI never seems to accept treaties even when it is in their favor. When I say favor I mean at least a 10% increased perceived value on their side. I find that if I need something, I need to make a disproportionate trade request. As an example, I attempted to form a trade treaty with someone. The treaty ended up being something like 2.15 gilder versus 1.98 gilder per turn. In order to complete the trade, I had to add something lik
I had created a page on the Faction Creator on the Elemental Wiki that describes how to work around the appearance issues. link Alternately Murteas has created a Faction Editor in .Net that can be run external to the game. link
I did notice with the Rock Giant that using his special (stone rain or whatever it is called) it did consume his mana.

Number of counter-attacks appears to be linked to combat speed, just like other attacks. When the unit hits a combat speed of 0, e.g. used all of its moves, then it can no longer counter.
My sov. has this issue and they are race/faction Tarthan and class/profession of Thief. The boots simply do not display in the list of items to purchase (same holds for some of the cloaks(scout cloak and traveller's cloak).
We just blew it on so many levels that it will require a detailed post-mortem (which I do plan to provide so players, customers, and others can learn from our mistakes in general and my personal mistakes in particular).
This is one of the primary reasons that you guys rock. You aren't afraid of admitting your mistakes, and you take correcting them to the next level. Not just getting past them yourselves, but putting
