I have Elemental 1.09e and I see that updates are already up to 1.09n. I have not been notified that updates are available, and when I manually try to update through Impulse nothing happens. What's up?
The update 1.09n is considered a "beta" update. You must have your options setup in Impulse to allow notification/update of beta or pre-release updates (cannot remember exact text).
1.09n is BETA of 1.1. You may update to this version when you'll set impuls to "Show Pre-Release (Alpha/Beta) Versions".
I don't recommend it. Just wait for 1.1.
how do i get the update for 1.09e there is no update option i see
As stated above, 1.09e is the latest 'official' patch available.
If you get your patches through impulse, you need to set it to 'show pre-release versions' (first tab in the upper left hand corner of Impulse/My Games) in order to see, & possibly download the beta patch.
That being said, the beta patch is in some cases more buggy than 1.09e, but does introduce Global Mana, new spell trees, and a few other adjustments.
