Um, actually the merchant change is quite the opposite of an improvement for city spamming in my experience. Although the reason isn't the merchants themselves, but rather the reduced profitability of hunting monster for Gildar. Let me see if I can explain this in a way that makes sense... Before, merchants cost nothing, but only produces 1 Gildar. It was virtually worthless, I didn't even bother building them because I could make money so easily from hunting. So a spam

Thanks for working on sat, hope you guys get some sleep.
Shards: Your first idea is completely doable now, but it simply makes magic way too powerful. The whole idea is to have to explore and claim shards. If everyone gets it right off the bat, what's the point? This applies to your second point as well, except it would take more work to implement. Mana: getting changed to global in 1.1 I don't really get your smithy idea, what exactly would they be producing? Points that you can exchange for weapons? I
No, and I'm beginning to understand why, it's a bottleneck in the building queue. Basically, you can crank up the economy of the AI to very high levels but the AI can still only build so many units in x many turns. If you have a strategy that can overcome that production capability, you can beat the AI on any difficulty. What the difficulty setting needs to do is give AI bonuses to their training time and construction time. This way, they can pump out more units and build faster, and thus is
Um... a bit late much? there's already been an official patch that fixed that. Granted it made all arrows miss, but that's another fix, also already posted in the mod section.
Um, shouldn't he have normal essence? You'd only get more if you actually own a shard right? Edit: Oh, wait, I see what you mean. Try adding 200 instead, maybe it doesn't assume 1 shard anymore (there were a lot of talk about this back and forth and I've never actually tried it).
How do you do this custom difficulty?
A quick mod to toggle map hack off, nothing difficult. The reason I turn it off is because it seems like the map hack hurts the AI more than it helps.
Actually, I think he's talking about some kind of item forge system like MoM or Dom3. Personally, I'd love it, but I'm pretty sure it won't happen because the AI would be completely hopeless at that kind of task.
IMO, 1DN is fine now that you got the min max damage system in. It's pretty easy to use to mimic higher dice rolls. I don't know why we are still talking about it.
I use to take organize a lot, but recently haven't (felt that it was just too cheesy since the AI is hopeless with it), so that change haven't done anything for me (I play on a custom ridiculous difficulty without map hack for the AI). It definitely take a bit of getting use to, but once you do, it's not really a big deal. The teleport cost thing did more to change my play style, but all it really did was made me push up tower of essence earlier on my research queue, and now my sovereign neve
You are using calculate correctly. However, you don't really need value owner here (this is mainly used to look up a certain stat for a particular unit - mostly with spells to designate the caster and the target). I'm also not sure you actually need the + 100. I think the game always assumes one shard and adds on to it with every shard after. So basically you should be able to do it with just: <br
A fireshard is hard to find on the cloth map? Something can't be right... it's a red crystal, should pop out like an eyesore among all that blue icons.
Very useful data. The team is on it right now.
Now I feel sorry for those developers, XD 5pm on a sat, debugging... *sigh* no rest for the weary.
You need to change the Men to: Fallen As only Fallen can build Sions.
It's completely possible that the one outside your border was due to an AI researching the same tech and didn't have room in their territory to place it. Thus, the bee was spawned outside.
I see this happen sometimes when I get child clone heroes, they all come with your spouse's name.
Bah, you're right it doesn't... need to look for a gender summon. (I wasn't really trying to marry her so I never tested, heh). Edit for clarification: I was actually looking for ways to "resurrect" champions, but this summoning method doesn't seem to do that, it just copies the data and start the hero at level one (I ended up with an army of Rilis, heh).
I know a few people were asking around for this, so here it is. Thanks to the recent silly mistake by SD that generated all those "Champions" that you couldn't hire. I figured out how to summon them, the key is to not use Summon Unit to do it, that would only summon the champion as a unit with the name Champion. Instead, I'm using the quest UnitJoinArmy code, and it works like a charm. Can visit shop, buy equipment, use items, cost no maint, etc... Here's the code if yo
That much I got, hehe. I just wasn't sure if you wanted to double the essence for all your units, or just for the one with that ability only. As for the shard shrines, that's easy enough to do, just remember that modifier to improvements doubles.
The way the game works right now, if you want to mod it just for you own race (and not all kingdom/empire) You pretty much have to copy all the old buildings, and techs. Change the techs to offer the new copied version of the building, then change the copied building to use the new tiles. Edit: I said it kinda backwards, but I think you know what I mean (you have to make the copied building require the copied techs).
To be honest I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to do (because I see Player tag and Unit tag, so I'm a bit confused), but here's how the tower of essence handles multiplier: Player AbilityBonus &
And that fire shrine looks nice! Bit odd with all those trees in the desert though... is there a way to convert the terrain under the influence of a faction into a different type in game?
Well if I understand it correctly, it should be in kingdom land, which is all green and so not a desert. I just couldn't figure out how to get the map editor to show kingdom land, so it ended up that way, heh.
You forgot to mark it as a champion talent... something like this: Champion_Talent &n
I think Raven said his Undead Rising was having problems with custom hair. It might be the problem you're looking at.
Research alliance (in diplomacy tree), then bribe everyone to ally with you.
