I was curious if anyone has had success getting FE to work through wineskin on OS X? The game crashes on boot up, most likely to DX settings. FE cannot detect the video settings correctly.

I like the camera cinematic in the video... It would make things much more interesting at the start of the battle if the computer automatically did this for a few seconds. Maybe limit to large battles. On top of that, use the cards as overlays, instead of the drawings at 0:43. I wonder if there is a way to manipulate the camera even during attacks so the artistic direction brings a feel of battle when you attack/defend. Like a small camera view in the left corner from the 1st person o
Crash links: All seem to happen around the same time clicking next turn button... Please let me know if more info is needed as I'm not sure how else to describe this. The game just quits with no error message. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8948510/Elemental0_805-2010-07-06T20-45-50-250.zip http://dl.drop
What's the point of zooming all the way in where the screen is the size of the tile and the units are small... I like the scale to zoom, but i think there should be a threshold point where you can actually zoom in on the unit. I like to be able to zoom in and see all the details on the units, right now you cant have both.
I'm not sure if this has been covered. Instead of just having a typical quest with a typical reward, why not have quests based off of events to force the player make some real tough choices. One could be an event where your sovereign gets poisoned (or city has a plague) and you need to quest for an antidote. Another could be where you have to make a tough choice during a quest that directly influences your empire, such as a city lost or hindered, a city moved
I'm just relieved that any games Stardock releases aren't abandoned. I think that the longevity of Elemental will facilitate all the good features from previous fantasy strategy games. It'll never replace the memory of good times with MOM, because it was the first solid game of it's kind. I remember when I first played GalCiv2 and thought, "This is no MOO2..." After playing it, I really enjoyed the game and stopped thinking how the game can beat the best memories of an
Game crashes after startup. It did not do this before the recent patch. Edit: It functions if I put skipintro=1 debug.err
Unless I'm missing something, which I could be, there should be a way to destroy/remove buildings in a city. I've messed up many of times placing a building.
