You like making me blush? So, what are the stats on this "malthus?" (Disclaimer: not so subtle attempt to get you to reveal stats so the other players will be better prepared to meet him on the field of battle.)
Happy to oblige

Okay, here's is what my army is dealing with here for all those not in the know. edit: That heroic ability of his is the heroic endurance, which is actually pretty good for a combatant like him since he won't rack up much fatigue over the long haul.
Okay, one thing to say here. Hanan'el be a tough little cookie. Wow.
Edit: Oops, just saw the current turn. Apparently Hinnom sent their armies out to meet me on the field and I had left. Well, that's a mistake I intend to correct. Let's see what happens. Epic fight might happen any moment now.
Henan'el will meet our monkey demons soon enough. Unfortunately, our demons are very hungry indeed (translation, they eat more than regular troops of their size). We be needing more monkey demons for the final grand battle, and thus, need more food to satisfy their cravings. Soon though, the ogres from Monkey City, carrying the blessing of the great Monkey Spirit. (ooc) Hinnom has *a lot* of troops at his capital. I'd imagine that is what
Rather than eat the cowardly one ourselves, Grom was sent to Hinnom as a little snack.
(ooc) I don't know if I would have gone after Hinnom if the arena event never happened. I already had my mind made up that who ever ended up killing King Louis would be the object of my vendetta, and in this case, it happened to be a neighbor. Lanka is strong in the early game, so I would likely to have had to target one of my neighbors. Of course, now I'm going to have to make up for lost time in research and site searching, and then eventua
News of the victory at Binophe (101) has brought with it jubilant cheers and howls all over Monkey City (aka Lanka). With this victory, the city of Hinnom is in sight. Despite the celebration however, bitter arguments are raged over whether to press on the attack, or wait for more demon reinforcements. Some insist that Hinnom is open and that now is the time to strike at their heart, while others insist that from previous intelligence reports, that there is still a
Ninja turtles being mercs? Sorry, can't think too clearly now. Let me see...Okay, I'm confused. Oh, must have been those murlock units (begins with an 'I' I think. Troglodytes are bad, but Hinnom giants, especially those of the name Hanan'el are worse in every way!
(in and out of character) Yes, Yomi, this game has so many possibilities. You had some misfortune, yes, but there are so many possibilities in this game! You can play as my lovely monkey demons and cry havoc and unleash the dogs of war! Yes, you had the misfortune of having to fight the dreaded Hinnom Giant people, who, in their pride decided to take you out in the beginning, but this need not always be the case. As in statistics they say, you should not judge
I remember when King Louis was a little demon pup, some 300 years ago. I was witness to when he ate his first little markata monkey, such a cute scene it was. He was to be our divine champion, the greatest of the monkey lords, until that accursed Hanan'el took him down with that sword that sword of his! The invasion of Hinnom begins now, and only one of us will come out on the other side. For King Louis! Death to Hinnom!
Hinnom! Today we feast on your blood!
My turn is in. Are you all ready for a WAR!!!
(Out of character) So this is my first time in MP in this game. I mostly toy around with hotseat and roleplay various factions and such, so it'll be interesting to see how this plays out. I'm taking a strong roleplaying approach here where my pretender is having a truly unhealthy obsession with taking down Henan'el. This is also my first time trying out Lanka, in either SP or MP, but I've always liked their concept and figured I'd
A great epitaph, if I must say so: "They were cheap to hire, and they died well." Must write that one down. Meanwhile, on the far north-western part of our world, a second chapter of our great drama is about to unveil. The earth is still wet with demon and giant blood, but from the north mountain ridge, sharp marching of Ermorian legions can be heard in the faint gusts of northern wind, mixed with "oook, oook!" of
Swamps, Wastelands and Mountains are more likely to have magic sites. Swamps have water and death primarily. Wastelands are good for fire and I believe death. Mountains have earth and air. There's also a cave terrain, but that's rare to find, as the random map gen doesn't create any to my knowledge, so it must be placed in a custom map. Caves are very likely to contain earth sites.
The Monkey Spirit has an announcement! It is hereby declared that a bounty has been placed on the head of Henan'el! To which ever nation brings us the head of Henan'el, we will hereby send fourth a bounty of 2000 gold, 10 gems of death and 10 gems of nature. We still do believe that one of our beloved monkey demon champions will of course be the one, but anyone may try. For King Louis! -The Monkey
This latest insult from Hinnom cannot stand! We have found our sworn enemy and his name is Henan'el. Only with his head will there ever be peace between our nations. Since we doubt they will hand him over willingly, we shall have to take it by force. The Monkey Spirit and our Monkey demons will continue to pour out of Monkey City, and will not rest until our beloved King Louis' death is avenged! FOR KING LOUIS! -The
The Monkey Spirit bring curses to the name of Hanan'el, slayer of our most beloved King Louis! We shall gather our monkey demons from all over, and lay waste to all before us until his head be on this here pike in my courtyard. For King Louis!
Uploaded my pretender, sorry for the delay.
My top 3 picks would be: 1) Abyssia 2) Lanka 3) Caelum
Ahhh, looks like I'm a bit late. If there's still room, I'd like to join. Otherwise, I'll wait for a new game if one comes about.
I think this comes down to trying to sell your product to a larger number of markets. Let me try to explain. Say you have a product, and you know that one group of people would be willing to pay 50 dollars for the product, but you know that another group of people are willing to pay 70 dollars and another group 100 dollars and so on. Now, you can't just ask those willing to pay 100 dollars to pay that much instead of 50 dollars, so if you put out your produc
Hmm. I can't figure out how to edit my reply. me = board newb. That first sentence after the Frogboy quote SHOULD be part of the quote itself. Must have made a boo-boo. Anyway, it occurred to me after posting this, that perhaps the initial IN-HOUSE plan was what Kryo states it to be, but what Frogboy wrote on the forums about how "2nd exp. will be free to customers [y]" just a couple days ago doesn't quite sync up wit
Not sure if it's possible, but what about different types of mana (fire, earth, water, air) which can all be global with each respective shard generating that kind of mana. Then have spell casters have different affinities for each (they can be like stats I believe). Example, if a mage has a high affinity for fire, perhaps his spells do more damage or he uses up less fire mana. Some spells might use more than one type of mana (volcano = fire+earth, some mud spell = ear
