I play it until this day, ridiculous replayability, awesome mods, overall this game if you like strategy is GOLD. I play it multiplayer as well, it is fun. The Grand Campaign can take weeks to play, though. Not a bad thing, this is a kind of game though that you dont really need to finish to the end of the t

@Nesrie - No worries. Also I agree with your position about "clean code". That is one reason I offerd to help pay for the update. I also think Paradox games are unique and always wanted SD and PI to merge and make something wonderful for gamers.
On the other hand, I'd like to speak up to any other defending fighters in the War on Verbs and say that one large reason that 'related' thread was such a failure is that "to fail" is a verb. Part of what makes the enemy so insidious in the War on Verbs is that they despise (or just can't understand?) the fundamental Indo-European sentence structure of subject-verb-object. Sure, it can sometimes make very good evolutionary-linguis

More like changing publishers 3 times, with 3 different visions for the game, and a way overambitious design idea didn't work well for them That's more or less my impression as well. I lurked on the MoO3 boards for the forever-time it took them to move through those three publishers and eventually ship a 'product.' What I got right after RTM didn't seem at all like a masses-hate-complexity version of 't
Have you played the game much? It is not a "multiplayer" problem persay. There are a certain number bugs that come up more often in multiplayer games, because there are, you know more players getting events than just one. If they fixed the bug it would help singleplayer and multiplayer. Thanks for being honest though, I guess companies that release a product are no longer required to fix a feature of the game so long as you don't care about it.[/quo
I am leaning towards beta 1 being only cloth map in order to let beta testers have more input on the game mechanics (fewer assets to change if we accept a suggestion). I think that's a good idea all around. Inevitably beta testers will disagree with and/or have suggestions on mechanics, and it will be handy to be able to change them around more easily. If you're closing the beta for a few months, does that mean you've settled

Good stuff. You should conisder doing a weekly gameplay survey exploring different systems and related options. Regarding the results for two and three, it does not surprise me. I bet the average age of people in this community is 30+ and many of us 40+. Most kids would select such an option because of ignorance methinks.

Simply put one can't wrong with Win7. I figure many companies that skipped Vista will upgrade to Win7 shortly after the first SP however. This OS should change many peoples mind about M$ seriously... It is worth every penny - now how many times as someone said that about a MS product?

It crashed on us all the time but CK2, where they build the code from the ground up would be awesome and most likely stable. Unfortunately that is definitely a niche game, and I doubt it sold real well. Here's to hoping though.
Personally I don’t really care for
