This is actually a pretty good shooter. This is coming from a guy who hates shooters.

Aloha! Welcome to the community. Please make yourself at home - as long as it is a nice home that is. Feel free to partake of the offerings and contribute where you think you can. [e digicons]B)[/e] Oh yeah remember... All hail the Frog! [e digicons]:frogboy:[/e]
Updated [e digicons]:andrew:[/e] I had time to go through over two hundred English language sites today and 98% are fluff and redirect advert sites - I could swear that shit is illegal. Anyway, I'm all out of valid URL sources and I simply cant do other language sites since I dont understand their content. So that is it for now. On a side note, I think it would be really neat for someone to start an interview questions thread for Boogiebac and or other members
A solid wiki for the beta process would be very good for educational purposes as well as posterity. To the best of my knowledge SD is the only developer that has open public beta processes as part of its inherent design process and a coherent, cogent and well developed information archive would be very useful to say the least.
ROFL!!! I assume that is a sarcastic question. EA=DRM - an draconian at that... [e digicons]:banhammer:[/e]
A very nice interview.
Leigh Alexander takes a look at piracy from the industry side in a two-parter for Gamasutra. The link is to a reference article on GP about the interviews. Of note, is a reference to Frogboy and EA from the new "PC Gaming Alliance". It is: [Stardock CEO] Brad [Wardell]'s approach is very hands-off. I think that if the PCGA as an organization is going to be all-embracing, if Stardock were to become a member and EA were to become a member, I think there are very obvio

Seriously, how could you miss this?
Also dont forget that each secondhand sale also equals a lost sale to piracy. [e digicons]:O[/e]

It would have simply been easier to say EA = No way! [e digicons]:jafo:[/e] That is my motto - for gaming at least.
Sweet! Also please dont forget you can nominate others as well. So dont stop at Frogboy. [e digicons]:jafo:[/e]
You know, I can't help but wonder if there exist threads like this for other companies CEOs.
None that I have ever been aware of in the gaming industry. I think that has to do with the fact that CEOs dont become active with the customer base historically. Moreover the bigger the company gets the more removed from them the CEO becomes. On top of that Brad is a real gamer who actually plays games practically every day from what I un

Yeah the books are far better. The movie was toned down dramatically for sensitivity issues but apparently it was not enough. The flop was mainly due to different religious organizations organizing boycotts. If I was the director I would have remained true to the books then it might have had a chance of becoming the next LoTR franchise. It is simply another example of organised religion destroying yet something else - just like in the movie

@Annatar - for what it is worth brother, I think you are reading into this far more then what is intended. Fame, celebrity and dare I say cult of personality, do not inherently marginalize nor discount the efforts of others which have contributed said status. I think it is all in good fun and intended as such.
@Annatar - No doubt. [e digicons]5*[/e] Maybe SD & IC should make a news post about the nominations and post bios on everyone as I'm sure few people really know all the particulars. I also nominated Seabass, Kyro and Yarlen but given this thread is about Frogboy it did not seem appropriate to post the nominations here. I started to work on one for Zubaz but the professional troll element is still a little rough yet.[e digicons]:troll:[/e] I have to revisit
@Annatar - I thought Frogboy worked on the AI and that SD was fully part of the dev team since the get-go. Could I have been delusional all this time? Anyway, you are correct there are several other deserving people involved. It is as I stated in the subtitle you can name up 25. I just figured for forum post purposes it would be best to select a figurehead and spiritual leader aka Frogboy and make a post in the two most appropriate forums that cover all of the SD system with regards t
I would be very surprised if you could not as well. It is a given in my book for such a game.
My nomination text: Aloha! I think Brad "Frogboy" Wardell, President of StarDock Entertainment deserves to be the Game Industry Hero (GIH) because his business practices and development policies since founding his company, have been very customer friendly and market enlargement oriented. Consequently he builds very positive relationship with gamers around the globe while promoting the industry - very much like we expect from a superhero. He also puts his
@Trigeminal - Thanks that should also help. BTW: The image thing is taken care of already.
