The only way that will happen is if Stardock buys Paradox, which I wish would happen. Paradox wants to keep their independence though.
No doubt. SD wants its too. Oh well, wishful thinking is what it is... A very close alliance will serve the both of them well as I said.
Quoting theleif, reply 19 Instead of waiting for the game to be digitally distributed on Impulse, why not buy it from paradox via it's gamersgate? Because if he waits until it comes to Impulse (assuming it does), then it would only further encourage Paradox to put all their games up on Impulse.
No doubt. Sadly I have more than a dozen titles on GG. All the PI titles and a couple i
do you really think its worth being on the collection? I think there is a lot of room for improvement, but I guess most artists say that about their own art.
I would consider sharping the eyes more and smoothing the edge but otherwise it rocks.
One of the SD guys has to add the Digicon bear to the collection. [e digicons]:frogboy:[/e] [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
No doubt. [e digicons]:banhammer:[/e]
It was SD as far as I know. Although some would debate it since SD main business was/is not games.
Yep. Just a reg code would suffice methinks. Hey, that is exactly what SD uses - what are the odds??? [e digicons][/e]
No worries. You put for more info in yours than I. Hell the more the info tempo the better as far as I'm concerned.
Here is a more detailed overview of things for the meeting.
Sweet. He and Scott from GPG will be in the area that time as well. So I hope they will participate. I have a thread about it here .
The point is if the "bad guys" can get the FTC to agree that DRM is good they COULD require it on all software products. Moreover they could codify their concepts of ownership and resale. SD, ICG &GPG would be compelled to comply. Think about that for a minute... If the GBR is to have ANY meaningful impact on the industry, then this is the venue to tout it - on a national stage in front of the very organization that has real power to change the playing field for consumers.
@Frogboy - So does that mean that you and the presidents of your affiliate (GPG, ICG) development houses are going to submit panel member petitions? Being a publisher and developer with one of the best, if not the best, customer support reputations in the industry, as well as all the accolades SD has received in the past month I would think you at least would be a guaranteed selection.
OK guys. This thread is turning into a damn train wreck. Please let it die here and now. [e digicons]:banhammer:[/e]
Got to get the "report post" button fixed then all will be well in SD land. [e digicons]:borg:[/e]
It appears the FTC is looking into the issues with DRM and the effects on consumers and they are soliciting experts on the topic to participate in the discussion. I think this is the PERFECT opportunity for the GBR to be touted on behalf of gamers everywhere. Moreover I suspect several big publishers will have agents participating and we need a publisher who looks out f

Hmmmm.... This might sound crazy but, I have always wondered why we dont simply ship all the waste to Hawaii (my adopted home State). I figure the best way to get rid radioactive waste and other garbage for that matter would be to dump it all in an active volcano. I like to think of volcanoes as natures professional recycling agents. We could put the waste in concrete blocks and fly them to the top and drop them in and or build a conveyer system. Note, I'm aware the impact such a thin

@GW - yeah that was a culture of female warriors and it was on the steps. The archeological evidence and some reasonable assumptions plus DNA markers leads one to assume that the forbearers of the culture were the lost army of Alexander. Moreover it is basically understood those ladies are where the source of the Amazon stories that resurfaced after the original ones many centuries prior. There is a school of thought that Spartan women were the "original" Amazon women written about in ancient
@GW - I like that line of thinking a lot. It adds a nice dimension to the diplomatic element a lot beyond the in game factions.
BTW: Frogboy and the GBR made the Edge News Makers list of '08 as well. Would you like to know more? You can read about it here . [e digicons]:borg:[/e]
