Ouch! That hurts. I was under the impression from another thread that all the PI titles would be coming in the near future. MoC is really, really necessary. It is just like TotA to GC2.

I would love to see a full license upgrade* for VU users for less than $100. That would make things alright in my mind between me and M$. * I want to be able to install W7 cherry from the disk with ONLY the UV key and the W7 key needed. I cant stand the "install the old system first then install the upgrade" crap they have going now. This is especially irking when the entire system is on the disk in the first place.

Both are pretty good games. If I had to pick the better of the two (I have both of them as well as all x-packs) I would say GC2. The last x-pack just put it over-the-top by a big margin feature and function wise.

Regarding Marlowe's post... I tend to agree with your position and it has been mine from day one. I want the guy who make the game to get the majority of the profits. With that said, an interesting thing for them to do would be to spinoff Impulse and both companies take a 50% stake in it that way they get the benefit of both worlds with would replication of overhead and a stronger market position in sum. But again more wishful thinking on my part...

I was under the impression SD turned it down because to get it SD had to agree to lots concessions and give up control of things. I hope that PI did not make a deal with the devil just to get the name. We would not a MoO3 situation on our hands again. Especially from a company like SD or PI.
