A big problem in a lot of games is how magically a conquered people become "your" people. If I am of the Race of Men and conquer your city of Dwarfs, we have a different race, culture and religion, and the game shouldn't assume that I magically turned my conquered foe into my race. I conquer a city of Stone loving Dwarfs, they don't become Sun loving humans automatically. Well, what should happen instead? When you conquer a foreign city,

Ive been thinking about my favorite genre of games, Turn-based strategy and another one of my favorite games, the Sims. Don't laugh, the Sims is a great game. Why I like the Sims, has to do with it's incredible open-endedness. My goals in the game are of my own choosing, there is no "Win" to the Sims, only playing and playing and having fun coming up with my own personal goals in the game. Then I thought about my favorite Genere, TBS, and how the goal of "Winni
Jesus, that is a grudge. I played GURPS years before Fallout came out a couple of times, I don't think it was quit good enough to hold a grudge that keeps me from playing some of the greatest RPGs ever made. Seriously, those old Interplay/Troika/Black Isle/Bioware games are the shit. And what about Bethesda? Are they guilty by association? I'm glad I don't hold grudges like that.
Haha, holy shit, we could really take apart that "Key Features" list. A strategy game in an RPG world. I would agree to this, it is a strategy game with RPG elements Randomly Generated Maps. There are really not randomly generated maps, there are a few maps. 10 Unique Factions. <span style="co
I plan on making a lot of guys with sticks with sharp, pointy edges that use them to hit your guys. Beware, bitches!
Yes, but do you go around renaming all the other players Cities and heroes too? What a pain in the ass.
I bought BTS for FFH2. Very true, and I'm not even a big mod guy.
I don't really think WoM needs all that much to be fun. Yes, I have bitched a billion times about its flaws, but it really just needs a few things to be fun. Random events, better and more quest, more variety and interesting special sites (things like the ogre camp that was taken out and minor factions) along with some gear balance, would really make a huge impact in the fun department. Those changes won't make a perfect game, but it would make a fun game. I th
Starting in a wasteland is fine, being surrounded by wasteland sucks balls.
I am Liking Tien Chi, they have solid troops. Tower Shields, composite bows, light lancers/horse archers, and a trampling unit. diverse magic and many summonable units. Good solid nation.
Won't buy from Bethesda? Huh, I really like their stuff. Interplay? Do they even make games any more? Old days of Interplay was good.
Usual rules are: Diplomacy: Machiavellian, you can make diplomatic agreements with people, and you can break them, but remember that people like to gang up on those that break their word and are untrustworthy. Common agreements are the NAP-3. This stands for a Non-Aggression Pact with a 3 turn warning before you attack. So if we make this agreement, then we don't attack each other unless we give each other a 3 turn warning before. So at turn
Pretender in.
I think Jon Shafer was hired in part to add more modding into FE, right? JON!!! JON!!!! JON!!!!
As it has been said, for the foreseeable future all Stardock products will remain on Impulse as they have been.
Just to play devils advocate. This doesn't actually answer whether or not that Stardock games will be on STEAM. Games can be on both STEAM and impulse.
He didn't seem like an idiot in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms novel.
I'll have to review my Sun Tzu. Lu Bu's name sounds familiar to that text though the vernacular reference to his diminished manhood I do not recall
Lu Bu played a major role during the end of the Later Han dynasty, he was known as the greatest warrior of his age, but also treacherous.
No word on the Pony, but I did go on Facebook and find the WoM page and bitch about the lack of ponies there too...some day they will learn to never make a game that doesn't highly feature adorable mother fucking ponies!
I do gildar 100% of the time too. I would love to do the random troops, but they are so often crappy, I don't bother.
Actually, I just looked back at the first post on my E:WoM 1.1 bitching topic and a lot of things have been or are being addressed like: "When creating a custom faction, we need to be able to tell which bonuses don't work with Empire or Kingdom, seems simple, but apparently not." That has been fixed "And Stop letting other factions create cities in your area of influence." Also fixed "No reason to have the entire kingdom disapear like a fart in the wind when the So
I like random. Anything to make a new play interesting and different from the last tim eI played is good.
I didn't have high hopes, I didn't care. I wish that it never would have been conceived or implemented at all.
Quoting Lord Xia, reply 38 Hey, I want a job too...working in mental health is crushing my soul slowly... Well, I'm not sure of what the exact differences are - but I daresay mental health is treated a little better in Australia then in the US (especially if funding is increased as both of the major parties have promised). Best regards, Steven.
Technically he threatened "Law Suits" not "Lawsuits", so I'm pretty sure that he is making threats of a fashion faux pas if you don't fix multiplayer!!!!
Ive made a thousand post putting up suggestions to make the game better.
