Lord Xia
Just another brilliantly half-ass game mechanic in WoM.
Of course, the gamer community is well known for their understanding...
Well, if they follow their trned sso far, I imagine that WoM will have water removed in a future patch and FE won't have water in it at all.
Ha, no, I did not lose a battle, Arco is running away, I have not engaged him yet, still chasing him.
Oh my, does this mean that Poor Arco will have to fight me without his mercs? That was really your only chance. Now you will see a true army in action.
Yea, it's not going to be Dom 3. I would be satisfied with a downloadable manual that was kept up to date when patches are released.
Update me! Update me! I was thinking. I do that at times. One of the big problems with this game is the balancing between single individual units, like Heroes, and multiple individual units like 12 man armies. I think, the easiest way to do this would be to simply not have them "act" like multiple individuals in a unit. Let the stack of twelve guys, Look like twelve guys, but attack like a single guy with 12 times the hit points. So t
Stardock. I'm not a heavy hater of Gamestop, but if I had to choose, I would pick Stardock.
Arco brought war to the Peaceful Tien Chi people. I'm afraid we must return the favor to Arco. I feel that an army of slingers and mercenaries may not survive my onslaught.
I just bought this game, and after having played it, I am really, really Glad we have Jon on board at Stardock. Civ V is a very good game.
This makes sense. Is there also going to be a change in how many buildings I need of something to make a noticeable difference? Seems like a million tech buildings is needed by late game. Not very satisfyingly to have to keep building the same thing over again to get a decent result. I would fill up my starting cities queue for constructing buildings early in game and not ever catch up. One hut or archive after another for eternity.
Take your time. I want lots of good stuff.
That Toby has a sexy voice!
My big fear is that we will wait another month for 1.3 and it is extremely underwhelming.
The Naval question is a good one. The game needs some kind of mechanic to be able to travel to other lands. Always having to play a pangaea type world gets boring. Certainly it can be done, Other much older games have done it. I would like to hear from Kael or Toby what is in store for the Navy. Islands with rare sites, water monsters, pirates, there can be all type of fun shit to do!
I'm still hopeful. The game doesn't need Dynasties to be fun, but it was one thing that made WoM interesting. If they do champions better, and the world is fun to explore, and nations and races are not generic, along with tactical battles being fun...I can live without Dynasties easy. But, I was hoping that they would find a way to fix it and make it better for FE. But, if it's easily modded back in, then maybe if FE does well, it will be added back in, bet
Oh, well, that ain't so bad then :)
This sucks. It was one of the few interesting things in elemental. If they continue to cut the shit they couldn't make work well in WoM, there won't even be a game to play.
I want to put my penis in Natalie Portman.
Couldn't agree more with the OP.
And I don't have 64-bit. Sorry Stardock, but they don't have the power to influence people making that kind of change. It would have to be some real major game release to do that, not Elemental.
Want to play a game? Tic-tac-toe? LAME!
Fishmarkets? Didn't even know that was in the game. I've seen them build harbors and ships before, don't think they ever put troops on them. Not sure what is so amazing...sorry.
Ive only read the last few post. The universe is finite, it is expanding, and it's also mostly flat. Open space beyond matter and energy of our universe is not infinity, its nothing. Nothing and infinity are not the same thing.
