I would only like that if quick battles worked realistically, instead of randomly, bizarrely or contradictory to what the normal results of a tactical battle would be.

Also, the quick battles in WoM were initially really fucked. Not sure if they have changed them or not, but I played 1.4 last night for the firs ttime and noticed a lot of other similar problems, so I imagine it's still bad. Although bad in predictable ways. Fighting units that do that dumb shit one hit kill attack? Quick battle! Because they didn't use it then. Units that would devastate you in tactical battles, were wimps in quick battles. &n
It makes me dangerous! But, sadly in real life, i have both eyes, but due to strong nerd blood in my veins, I wear thick glasses.
I will add some randomness. I got engaged over the Thanksgiving holiday. Yep, a real live woman want's to marry me, out of love too apparantly, doesn't need a visa and I'm no sugar daddy. There is hope for all the fat nerds!
Skittles probably avoids the boards to avoid getting nerd slobber on her.
Governments will always try to gain total control over it's people, and only the people can prevent it. Why bother learning history when we are doomed to repeat it. Lets look back at people who had their rights to free speech, to protest, to own weapons, etc taken away from them. When you give up such rights for the idea of safety, you will get it in the short run, but that safety is a cage. I'm a bit of a bleeding heart liberal at my core, I get teased a lot,
Boats would be nice to have even if they are not done 100% well. I understand that boat AI is difficult, I have seen this played out on a number of TBS games, but having the option for the player would at least be something. The only map I like for this game is the Destiny's Embers one, and it has two continents and an island...
SP only. I can't stand multiplayer in TBS. And I got a random chuckle from the dollar = hour ratio for fun thing. Makes sense, but then it giot me thinking bout how I got Alpha Centauri for $3 giving it about a 100 hours to dollar ratio for fun factor at least. And What about FE? Cost is going to be $0? That calculation is going to be quite a pickle... [e digicons][/e]
Concerning this games performance I think that we can just leave it that I don't believe it met anyones expectations.
Well, not meeting "anyones" expectations is certainly hyperbole. Stardock has been very good to its customers for the failings of this game. They DID patch it with 4 large patches. They are going to either give the next game for free or at a discount for peo
Best game ever.
Yep free! Also, you will get another, yet unnamed Elemental title for free. Lucky you! And me!
My problem is, that limited number of champions that can be killed will suck. There isn't going to be dynasties, that has been said. As far as I know the game isn't going to keep repopulating the world with champions. They each require a quest or some action to hire. Limited in number. Them dying as easily as a group of namleess grunts, would be worthless and easy for the player to exploit against the AI.
It would be nice to see stuff from the old Romance of the Three Kingdoms games. Characters had personality traits, friends, rivals. I doubt FE is going to have or need an in depth system like that, but I always loved it. Also, rivals/friends only really work when you have TONS of characters, like Romance's 700+, if an FE game is only going to have a dozen or so champions in it, then its a hindrance gameplay wise to have rivals of the same faction. BU
I read a lot of the books, but that is probably less than 10% of them. I try to read the ones that have to do with the grand history.
Defeated warriors should get traits like, losing an eye, or an arm, severe wound, or even medieval PTSD and then you might have to do an expensive spell to heal them, or even send them on a quest to get the bad trait removed. I like the idea of there being a set number of champions that are in a sense, immortal. They don't die, they can get hurt, but not killed. When their kingdom/empire is destroyed, they become free agents again.
I play at adept most of the time, but the leveling system of the enemies isn't smooth, so I adjust it, up or down to give a good, but not easy or impossible fight.
Wasn't Glass armor in Morrowind like black armor with ragged, jagged glass rocks sticking out of it? That didn't seem very cool to me...
Don't trust Gamestop either, but my mistrust isn't enough o completely not use Impulse. Are they even calling it impulse any more?
Good for you guys. Should bump up Sales for you.
You said that there would only likely be one wild land in a game? Can we get an option to turn that up? I play on large maps, so having more would be more funner. FUNNER!
I've heard that Manatee's have very human like vaginas. Is that on topic, sorry I didn't actually read the post...
Hey Frogboy, if you're looking for sympathy you won't find it on this forum. We want our Beta with AAA+ AI and we want it now! And why aren't the Ponies Pink? (Got your back Lord Xia!)
Well done!
Good, means a wider audience for your games. I use steam all the time, I like it quite a bit. I wish I hadn't listened to the angry nerd hyperbole rants about steam and used it sooner.
I want unusual heroes too. That crap always makes me giddy like a little kid when I find stuff like that.
Skyrim is a fantastic game, but I share some of the main complaints. Spell crafting, enchanting, lack of stats. I like those things, I am a geek, I like micromanagement crap and numbers. Nothing gets me hotter than looking at a page of numbers. Thats the geek in me. No race stats bothered me a bit, but not much. But, even though the spell crafting and enchanting has been dumbed down, we do actually get more crafting. Smithing is a lot of fun
