I think so, I saw some champions gear that was won by a city defending, and I could never find where it went.

I notice that the monsters are dicks, nice to see they are doing it to the AI too, but they are getting genocided in the early game.

Because you can't directly choose the race of your Sov, it bugs out a bit. Normally, when you are creating a Sov, there is a nation tab connected to it. So if I am making custom Sov "Lord Xia" to rule over Resolyn, he will be a wraith, no problem. BUT, if I want to make a custom faction it fucks up. If you are scrolling and leave it on Yithril then select make a new faction, and create an Altarian kingdom faction, your Sov will look like an Altarian, but have

What different paths? Everyone needs iron. There are no paths around not using iron, and the pacing in my model would come in the idea that before you could utilize iron, you would have to build certain building, have a certain city size, and meet the resource cost of building the armor wiht the units. You have time to do something. But either game, you are kind of SOL without iron. Quick question, I have a billion crystals. I ne

I really don't care for it, but the initiative system helped. I hate that I can't place my troops and I wish that units had ZOC, and the battlefields where more than a flat, square grid. But it's alright. I don't see it as a huge issue.

Every big damage spell does this, not just this one. And it totally rapes grouped units, and only stings big single units. I had a whole army of death mages, but then I ran into an army of golems, and they told me to shove my poison magic up my ass. I asked, how? And then they showed me... Another reason that I thing the mechanics of single unit vs grouped unit thing should be changed, but no one listens to Xia...
How much would it change the game if research of a tech "failed" or was delayed? Must we always be successful?
To me, this would add insult to injury. More pain to a painful game mechanic. Although, I understand the idea, often research does fail, or you research one thing and end up with penicillin instead. B

This might be a big, or a problem with my graphics card, not sure. But some times there is a big white blob shooting out of some tile improvements. It looks like a blank white 3D area hovering above the map.. I think I took a screenshot, when I get home I will post it. Any one else know what I am talking about, kind of hard to explain.

I never tried to edit the base ones, as there isn't anything telling that would even work.

Right, there doesn't feel like there really is any specialization with cities or research. Yes, a few of my cities that were't close to enemy borders didn't bother with upgrades that were for building troops. That's pretty much it for cities. I've only played one deep game that went into most of the research. Wasn't there suppose to be some randomness to it? Maybe my memory is off, but I thought that we wouldn't have the same research

I would like another TBS game without research and random map/city placing/building. I played the crap out of Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Dark Wizard, and Brigandine and they didn't have that. Also, I think I would rather have one good map, than a random square island generator. It's much better than WoM, but it's still not on par with a CiV map. But, might be limited without boats and with squares instead of hexes.

I agree that that is story behind the game mechanic. But, it's not a great mechanic, and I think it's just a left over from other games like it. I really just don't see the point in research. It doesn't add to the fun of playing the game.

I couldn't target the guy at all, so I just got frustrated and hit auto. I won, so the computer knew how to do it I guess. It's not a very fun fight when you can't organize your army before battle. Also, when you auto, does the game just throw your weakest units to the slaughter? I had a group up champions and my Sov, and we found Janusk who was far lower in level and power than the rest. When I auto attacked with that group he would be the only one t

I have to wonder why we even have the feature to research technology at all? Does this make the game more fun? I don't don't think so. I don't understand why we need researching at all or tech trees. It's just something that TBS games have so we have to have it. I think it's unneeded, or in this game, should be only in the form of researching new things to do with magic. I know this is in no way going to change FE, but maybe so

Many of my champions don't feel very overpowered. Most feel pretty equal to other things in the game. Then there is my Sov and a couple heroes who I am able to gear with super-powerful magic gear. My attack was 60 and defense was 30, do some high level quest and kill some wildland leaders, and now its 130 and 60. Often my leader can hit for 100 on anything, while many of my champions are hitting for 20. My troops can hit for 50, but are often killed in one hi

Anyone make the comment that fallen rivers should be green? Seems like now they are blue and then flow into green lakes and oceans.

I have 0.77 and have raise land at least, used it last night to get past god damn caravans that blocked me in on a narrow road, I couldn't move. I had a wildland with a city in it, captured, it but it never produced influence and it did nothing special other than having a darkling defender that I could tell. Also, the one with the big worm never went away when I killed it, big green question mark on the mini-map forever.

Reply to Enemy Champions in FE Beta

They have to be one side or the other if they have Death or Life magic.

First off, I find the equipment in FE much better balanced than in WoM. But, there is still a big flaw and hurdle to the game balancing. This has to do with having 2 different game mechanics of how units work. Those two groups are stacked units (like 3, 5, 7, or 9 soldier stacks or monsters) and single hero/monster units. One big problem is they use the same equipment, for the most part. Heroes do have access to some rare and powerful magical
