Lady Porcupine is probably the worst built Sov in the game. She has spent all her sov points on 3 magic paths, 2 of which she could easily get through her nations enchanters ability, and has that terrible inefficiency ability to pay for it.
No surprise the two magical ladies aren't up there indeed. Maybe the obnoxious -25% efficiency could be reduced to something more sensible like 10%?
God, I even forgot they have other penalties too, like inefficiency and scared along with Resolins no armor. They don't have a chance.
Be real surprised if penalty laden Pariden and Resolin win a lot of games. Really no surprise that Tarth, and Kraxis are up there twice, and Gilden and Yithril. Kind of suprised to not see Athar not up there, maybe their benefits like henchmen and quest maps are not great for AIs and I am kind of surprised by not seeing Magnar either, their slaves should be a big advantage.
Leather and/or Rusty armor or even chain at the highest with a level 5 fortress maybe. It's too easy for me to take cities from the AI. I can pile shit troops to take cities. And I mean shit troops with sticks and weakness I fast track and then rush with.
CK2 is easily the greatest strategy game ever made, in my honest opinion. But I ain't a salesman, I'm sure you can find sites and reviews that do the job better than I could.
That spider is a dick.
How is adding armor to miltia dumbing down the game? I can't that line of logic to make any sense.
Is that the original, or CK2, 'cuz I'm talking CK - Complete, which was way cheaper than CK2.
Ooh, well then, you just have to wait around, if cabinet post go unseated, eventually you will gain people to use.
With things like imps and familiars, they are too easily the target of archers and other ranged attacks, often they are killed in the first round of combat. maybe some more hit points, more defence, certainly more range defence and spell resistance. I don't think they should have high attack or anything, but they shouldn't be easily killed. To me, the cost is too high.
It's intended. They don't want you to exploit manual building placement to snake cities to rivers and forest to gain their bonus.
Specifically, the Amarians(Pariden) and the Wraiths(Resolin). They have a hit point penalty of -1hp per level( which is a -50%) and is balanced out with mediocre bonuses. This causes me to never choose these two races as choices, as all other options are superior. I don't think it's need as balance, as their racial bonuses are among the weakest and they gain no special troops to balance it out. (Resolin's troops are from faction traits, so I cou
You can go to the intrigue and add people, I think nobles cost money and priest cost piety. Also, if you wait people tend to show up to your court for free after awhile. You can also invite people from other lands to your court, but not terrible effective often.
I like that it's repeatable...I just change his name. But maybe it shouldn't be.
The game is one of my all times favorites. I haven't picked up legacy of Rome, but I will soon enough.
I've had the same thing.
It's shit.
Broken loyalties does NOT come from diplomat. It comes from the betrayers faction ability.
I think I should try beastlord again, now that it doesn't have that casting time. I know one game I got a hoarder spider(the really super big ones) early in the game and then when attacked by Resolin, I was taking spiders from them. It was fun. I might even make an Urxen faction...or even play as Umber, they have assassin weapons and super scouts, which isn't bad at all...
I must be the only person scared of monsters. Air shrills are a strange thing, if you are not alone, or you have enough hit points to survive their initial barrage of range attacks, then they are easy as shit, but they can dish out 25-30 hit points in a group of four air shrills, which is easily enough to destroy a lone sov/hero early in the game.
The 3packs of wolves can do some chomping even without a great wolf there. I don't dismiss them like I use to. unarmored units without counterattack will be eaten pretty quickly by wolves.
Quoting GFireflyE, reply 2And to counter arguement: ALL medium enounters should be rated 'weak' relative to the WEAK dark wizard encounter. Despair needs a nurf. Think my last game I battled the dark wizard's crew and it wasn't marked weak anymore. I may be remembering wrong though.
Yea, if they hang around to level to 20 and gain an army, they can boost up to strong...but that strong should be epic
Yea, wolves got a real boost awhile back, they use to be pushovers, and now they scare me. They are so fast they tend to dry rape to death your weakest unit before you ever get to move.
Yes, a lot of the bugs are minor graphic errors and grammatical errors. There are still a few crashes here and there, but it really is a stable game. We are just very diligent in reporting even the slightest problem, so when it does launch, it will be near perfect.
I don't think you have diplomat correct, but I agree with everything else. The ability you are describing I believe and might be wrong, comes with the betrayer nation ability. With diplomat, you get the silver tongue ability that lets you convert an enemy trained unit in battle to your side. This can be useful, and fun to get things you might not have access too, like Tarth archers or Capitar warhorse knights. It also gives 40 influence, w
My favorite is if there is a river. Even though they can walk over the river, they take a huge path that goes around. Hate getting their feet wet.
