Umber is still in the game, I create a leader for them and Capitar. Umber is pretty good. They get bonuses in medium to large armies with their blood, their faction traits are assassin gear, which gives poison to units and better broad and long swords. And they have Tarths master scout ability. I play as them every now and then. Actually, they and Kraxis are the premade factions I have played the most.
Lord Xia
That would be a cool mechanic, if your ruler of a wraith or Amarian faction, you start with level 1 in life/death. That would balance out the weak races, by making their rulers have more magic or traits than other rulers.
You know, I didn't even talk about Karavox. I have a bit of a love hate with him. I like his story, he is one of the more powerful sovs in terms of both physical power and magic, as having krax blood and cruel makes him better in combat than most Sovs, along with having two level 2 paths in magic. But, they are not magic picks I would take and I certainly wouldn't choose cruel, as it hurts. But diplomat is a solid choice for professio

I'm curious about which nations people really enjoy playing and why out of the default ones, not custom made. Do you like it do to it's abilities? Or maybe it's leader? Or it's story? My favorite is Kraxis . I have a number of reasons I like them. I like they idea of them being cousins to the New Pariden Amarians, but were stuck on the other side of the Henge(bridge that connects the East and West continents)
I'm truly Loving Fallen Enchantress now. It's really an incredible game. The more I play it, the more impressed I become. I really hope this becomes a long time franchise. For a long time, many of us stuck with Stardock after WoM, giving ideas and knowing that Stardock would listen to our good ideas and throw out our shit ones. They have done an incredible job with this game, and I really hope it gets recognised for great it really is. What I want t
Oh, ouch. Tough buggers.
I'm a pussy, I don't Ironman ever. I've seen some strange things that happen from autosaves. It does seem that somehow reloading from an autosave gives the AI an extra move, and a few other strange things with research and building. I could never really put my finger on it though.
Yea, you can do it with others too that have special goods, like Athica longswords, trog axes, Gilden's glitter dildo, Kraxis one handed spears, etc.
Juggs do have some major weaknesses. They are slow and have no defence. They can easily take out stacks of units, but they are far from OP. Archers shoot their dicks right off. All ranged do, lots of powerful horsemen do to.
Quoting auboy105, reply 30 Thanks I think I see now! Is this because Pariden has the tomes and can get all magic paths but death to get all summons? Is there no Air Elemental? Is there a death summon? Yes, Pariden can research the tomes, but with Pariden or a customized sovereign you still can't buy Life or Death books. You can only buy Air, Fire, Water, and Earth. I remember Brad writ
I created a faction last night with the same name as another created faction, and as I was playing the game and unlocking techs, I was given troop designs from my previous faction of the same name. So my Human Kingdom was able to build Urxen troops.
I played a game recently that the AI wasn't doing shit. I didn't fight any battles with them and just noticed that they weren't expanding quickly and just kind of fucking around. I was starting to get pissed, what the fuck did Brad do to the AI in the last patch!!! And then I restarted and noted that somehow, even though my world difficulty was on hard, I had accidently set the faction AI's to easy. I felt kind of stupid...
I just worry that the campaign will be buggy if it's not beta tested. I'm sure they have thought about everything, and I'm overly worried, but it's a feeling I have.
I think Imperium can get fucked if there is a city built too close. The way that is closes is that the demon gets killed and then there is the one spot that you can build a city, build it and the wildland goes away. But, I think if there is already a city close by, you can't build a city in that spot and can't get rid of the wildland. That is my current theory.
I feel it's pushing 85.
I haven't seen Markin be underpowered in my games. They have superior weapons and more hit points, and golems. They and Tarth are the ones on Kingdom side that give me the hardest problem.
I think upgrades to armor and gear should come with techs, city increases, and buildings. If there is a fully built level 5 Fortress, I should expect it to have a lot of well geared defenders. Archers in full leather and longbows, Infantry in chainmail, kite shield and mace. And maybe Fortress only. I think Fortresses should be a lot harder to capture than cities and conclaves, but a bit of armor on some defenders in any city is fine.
I've played CK2 hundreds of hours and have never played a game lasting longer than 230 years. I've usually accomplished what I set out to do and think of something else to try by then and start a new game.
Leaving a hero at home? Which home? Every city? Leave troops to defend? So limiting their ability to expand and defend their cities? Cities being able to defend themselves better will help the AI more than it will the player.
I support either this or buffing the Amarian and Wraith blood traits enough to make them worth considering even with the health penalty. Please don't make it another case of "if you're of race X, you can train units of type Y" - I think there are enough of those already, and one of those doesn't make much sense at all (specifically, slaves - only Quendar get slaves, regardless of the faction trait of Slave Lords. Why? On the other han
That's some good points. Those penalties do stack, and I bet the AI doesn't even recognize how much a liability really wounded champs/henchmen can be.
Yeah, it never ceases to amaze my how unbalanced the weakness picks are. You go from "Absolutely harmless with a modicum of care" (Clumsy) to "Seriously nasty" (Cruel) to "Damning" (Inefficient) Of course, depending on the difficulty level, weaknesses and advantages shift in importance. Karavox does much worse on Ridiculous+ and Procipinee much better. From Derek's outcomes, I guess the AI were challenging.
</
Not sure why that sword requires level 6. I guess it's decent if fighting twisted or elementals. Is there any way to give troops this sword, I think Capitar or Pariden troops are described as using it?
