Hi ! I didn't find any topic discussing this, so... I found strange that some spells can only be cast as overland spells. A good example is 'stoneskin'. I don't see any reason to allow casters to use it while in tactical battle to give a one-time advantage. IMHO This would favour magical elements where damage spells and debuff spells are in use (death and fire). Another thing is (I don't know if it is a bug), but I noticed some of my casters got spells more

I think this topic is quite important. First, giving (serious) injuries to heroes can help balancing the game which -after a few games now- seems to favour heroes. Secondly, injuries are fun and add a nice touch of customization to heroes. ;-). A nice way to remember your miscalculations in tactical combat. As a fallen emperor, I will definitely use my 'beyond repair heroes' to cast the paragon spell or something like that (once the UI let' us choose someon
I think you are correct on both accounts ! :-) I noticed the same. For the shard, others confirmed as well.
Well maybe it worked but there is no animation, so it is a bit non evenemental ;-) I had to look closely at the stats of the army you cast on you should see the difference. And last but not least, to be sure it works, if you battle the army within 2 turns, you will see each unit in the army is correctly marked with 'wither' effect. Actually, this has been one of the most used spells for me as it doesn't even require the enemy army to be in your territory. T
When casting Touch of Darkness (the spell that raises intelligence, but lower constitution), you don't have the choice who is casting. It will be one of your casters that meet the requirements. However, I once casted 'wither', and a pop-up appeared prompting me to choose the caster. Also, I didn't find a way to find enchantment active on a unit (You can disable them on the governement screen).
I agree with the injury for falling heroes.
Yup ! Instead of halving the cost of spells, they cost 50% more.
I was playing with Resoln. - I had an earth shard, had built the improvement, everything was fine. - The I cast corruption, the graphics glitched, the death shard was still there though. - The building was removed, the build button was there, but nothing was happening when clicking on it.
In my last game I was able to recruit Ophidians and Darklings units. - I was already far in War research, so I found they were a bit underpowered by the time I got them. I think Darklings should be available far earlier for a lower research cost. For Ophidians, playing with Umber, I think it is great. - So I tried to customize those units, and I don't think it is alright. First, when you click on female for an ophidian, you get an humanoid figure and you start with the bas
Hi ! Just to add my comments : - I had fun with the Beta so far !!! So thank you for having been so persistent ! It has been mentioned, but it's worth repeating: not every company (persons) would have make such effort ! Respect ! More about the game: - I have no problems with any feature in the game, so it's great. One of the big positives is the early stage of the game with exploration. And another thing that works now really fine with the improved com
My bad, was only the territory of a huge beast of something whose borders were also green. So not a bug. The only thing I could add on this is that maybe there should be some other indication this isn't a faction border for stupid people like me ;-)
At first I misthought it was a nation border without cities and saw it as a bug.
I'm all posisitive about this update ! Especially this: Notable locations will no longer require a tech level Quests will no longer require a tech level (though that doesn’t mean high end quests will be showing up early) Death of a sovereign will cause the rest of the faction to go over to the faction with the best dynasty connections I would have preferred that it goes to one of the sovereign's
I have trouble deciding if it's a good thing or not. resources like mounts would be great because they would be quiclky usable with a stable. It would help giving character to your faction. I have horses and wolves. I choose to use wolves (slower but have a better attack value). Too bad I don't have my bear cavalry like that other player. Hey, he won't have them long though. Some more powerful mounts might require techs. Now other resources such as raw materials, metal, wood c
Just a quick answer: I like dynasties. Improvement : allow my sovereign to die and its children to take over :-) Possibly also children separating from my empire and becoming enemies, but don't sweat it if that's too much work. I like designing units. More looks/type of mounts etc would be great. I like how the tech tree, but I have some trouble to see what I get researching in one of the categories. I know i
Looks to me that it is a fine update that you planned ! I only wished dynasties would get some love... Crossing my finger so that it happens for the first free expansion. Count on me for the word of mouth ! :-) If it gets better than it is now, be sure I will let it be known to all of my friends. Keep up the good work !
Congratulations !
You're right ! It has been stated many times over. I hope the dev team did hear us :-)
Hi, Just had a game that was quite good until I crashed (posted the info in support). The game gets better and better, Some things I noted - Add a Delete Sovereign button on the sovereign selection screen : I might be dumb (in fact I am), but it took a while before I noticed I could delete them using right-click. - Once a building is built, its info card should show what it costed . Now I did get why I was loosing food whe
Hi, Was having quite a good time with Elemental but I did crash after trying to retake a city I had myself taken from the enemy. I was killing Carrodus who was trying to escape from tactical combat but succeeded in killing him 2 tiles from the edge of the map. This because I used a Mounted Hero (Norak on a Warg Mount). Here is the debug file. Problem might be linked to missing MountedWarg Animations ? Hope this helps ! And BTW, tha
At the risk of being seen as a fanboy, I must say I am really admirative of your behavior on this issue. Very open and I think objective and humane. I'm maybe weird or something, but would it be only for this post, I'm happy to have spent money on this game. The whole experience is worth it. After all, it is only a game. We can all live without it reaching the full extent of its potential. Seeing people try, fail, take responsibility and then try again learning from their mist
Thank you ! [e digicons]^_^[/e] We have faith in you !

Great thread. MoM is my favorite game. Period. I bought it at release and back this year on GoG. For 5€. so, if I want to play Mom, I just start it. So far, E:WoM I think succeeded in being different in a globally very positive way. They at least freed themselves from the over-used city management everyone has learned to know since Civilization. Many thanks for that. And for me, economics work good or only requires slight adjustments in the tech tree. Some features are ju
Awesome ! The only thing I'm not sure it's a good idea are battle mages. It will render the sovereign (and children) not so remarkable. Unless their spells are very limited, but in most cases, this would mean they're an alternate of archers. About gaining experience... Only HP ? If sov/heroes also gain xp, they will lvl up giving some sort of advantage. IIRC, E:WOM has already 4 lvls for std units (that you have to unblock through tech. Wouldn't there be collision ? Unless you
