Neutral Powers only exist to be subjegated... but we design our own units so, we wont get theres, I thought we had different tech tree's between the civ's and definitely the races, maybe we can steal some unique techs.

The idea of secrecy is after all a thing that mostly relates to human players. But it would certainly be a nice touch in a multiplayer game. Yea, there's have to be a relatively small set of hidden conditions if the AI is going to understand it. Or, emphasis of core elements (X types of certain cities/buildings/heroes/artifacts) such that you

Wait what? Can you explain exactly what you mean? So if you wanted to give your units +1 axes but could only make +1 swords, you could make them look like they were armed with swords but with the stats of +1 axes? Sorry its just your wording is
again can't edit so if this could be merged with the above... I would like to be able to customize how my unit looked without stats if the item I wanted to use to make my unit look cool didn't come with a bonus.
Doh can't edit my above post so I will double post... if a moderator could merge this with my above post that would be cool. I would like a fantasical unit creation process where you can make your own fantasy units like you could give Angelic featurs with Air and Life Magic, or Demonic Features with Fire Magic. I would like to see this Fantasical Unit Creation Tab have options creatures other then Human to be the base template, so you could have something that resembled those
I would like units to be able to stealth if you train them for that ability, I would like them to be able to have Green Cloaks that increases the effectiviness of the stealth ability in forests, or if stealth works like MOO 2 or Civ 4 Space Game Mod, then increase the speed of the units in woody area's. I would like there to be Bows, and I would like there to be abilities to choose with bows like poison, it would be neat if they added some dragonsbane poison or anti-channeler poision
I'm thinking of changing the topic what abilities and equipment, clothing, and mounts would you like to see.
The new Dev Journal suggests we will create our units like we created our ships in GalCiv2
This topic too may have been invalidated by the new dev journal saying players will design there own units.
I guess this topic is now invalid... the new dev journal says they are making it a sandbox in how you design your units,
I just had a interesting though on fantasical units in this game, maybe if they have problems implementing planes of existence, maybe fantasical units are not conjured maybe they are created. :)
You could draw some inspiration could be taken from some DnD 4e Planes, like the Feywild, and the Elemental Chaos, both places just infused with magic, and are dangerous, since these planes would not have had magic all crystaled up maybe you could infuse these planes energies into crystals to take back to the regular world, or you just get a flat mana rate while you are there or maybe make towers that direct the untapped mana of that plane back to the home plane, or there could be some war ra
I thought channelers were the only wizards in the game, the only one with access to magic, if they added wizard units, they should depend on shards to power the abilities instead of being able to generally just draw effects out of the air like Channelers, and I don't mean harvesting mana from them for there own internal reserves, I mean they should geniunely have a piece of magic shard with them when casting. Then again maybe I'm being to harsh with magic with what little we know of the lore,
I guess these units I mentioned well a lot of them are sure fire to be included like Rangers and Paladins. I would like to see Rangers (maybe they could be a upgrade of the scout unit I saw in some SS) and not just regular RTS Rangers but Rangers like in MMO's the ones that let them stealth, and be a expert at Bows, Empire Battle for Dune had a Mechanic like that for top Fremen unit, in that they were ranged infantry that were generally invisible. I would like to see Paladin's,
I don't remember if it was mana every turn or if once summoned it had a resource cost in gold of its own.
I think you should add spells to create fantasy units, and maybe a spell like disjunction in MoM to make all those spell created units go bye bye to counter act there high power level, I would say spells to add Dragons to your army would be cool, but I have the feeling Dragons are going to be the Channelers of the Beast Faction, anyways I think it would be really cool to throw in spells to add Angels and Demons to your Army.
Elemental is Master of Magic's successor in spirit if not in name. I had high hopes for a sequal, I was even inspired to write many pages of ideas, most of which were IP dependant unfortunatly. But now, any hope for MOM 2 has to be tossed out the window, at least for now. Does anyone know why the negotiations didn't work out? I heard about it from many sources but none of them matched each other so I don't know what to believe.

I might consider this... In my opinion it looks like the same thing as Sins, but Medieval and with magic. I'm not being rude, but could Stardock maybe make a game like Sins, or Elemental, but in a present-day time period?
The only similiarity I see between it and Sins is they are both RTS games, MoM was turn based, but it does seem like it drew alot of inspiration from it, I'm hoping they have spells in it, to summon fantasical un
It might be beneficial to look into getting a Hub (with uber long Ethernet Cable) or a Wi-Fi router (with reciever). :)
I'm wondering if you could Conjure Fantastic Units, like in Masters of Magic, like for Life it would be cool to conjure Angels, and for for the Elements you could conjure elements, and monsters associated with those elements, like Dragons for fire, but if you use DnD for your inspiration for dragons then all the elements could have dragons, but you get the idea.
This would mean that Ironclad thought the game would be better with that diplomacy system and no story mode. The release of a better diplomacy system and story mode confirms, in his mind, that they weren't there to make the game stand out or something but rather so they could be added later for ten bucks each The lack of campaign was a design descision. One will likely be added eventually simply due to the high demand.[/qu

A thread about a Homeworld Mod of SoaSE got me thinking in Homeworld 2 is it really cheating to use the credit cheat, if the game adjusts the ammount of ships you face based upon how many credits you have, I remember I gave my self a metric ton of credits (not so much as to go into negatives though) and I had to face just insane waves of ships (I did this a very long time again when Homeworld 2 could still be bought at full price), so philosophically in this game do you think you come out wit
How do you do this in Windows Vista?
The Vasari eat by inhalation. They have a complex membrane that filters and extracts nutrients from fine particles, vapours, gases.
How is that little mass of nutrients gained through inhalation supposed to sustain a human sized lifeform, unless they submerge themselves in there meal and eat like fish breath or something. It would definitely give a whole new meaning to don't inhale your food, well the inhale part anyways, of course how would such a species evolve. Now on
