I was zooming in and out to check which city had what and how many enchantments when it struck me that the UI that hovers above a city has the indicators for enchantments but the city selection in the bottom left of the screen does not have them. I would find it a lot easier/nicer to have the enchantments show up there as well. It would also provide a sense of consistency between the two City UI's / information centers. If you wanted to get fancy you could even turn it into a smal
I really don't like the concept of the AI ganging up on you. Was just playing GalvcivII the other day and that very thing happened. Took a lone transport and took over a minor race. Next turn the AI has a secret meeting and determines that you're over-agressive behaviour will no longer be tolerated and EVERY major race declared war on me. . Wasn't right OR fair cause just the turn before another major AI player did the same against a
The problem i always had with the AI in Galactic Civilizations 2 would be partly due to my play style. I would always focus on research, economy, and industry so my exchanges with the AI would go something like this. AI: Hey you! i see you don't have as many ships as me! Me: Yeah so what? AI: I hate you now! give me everything you own or else! Me: What, no?! i'm not going to give you every credit and planet i own you moron AI: Fine war it is the
I thought i saw talk of the people who pre-ordered WOM would get this map pack for free. Am i simply mistaken (which is perfectly fine) or am i missing something?

But If you want MP, would you be willing to pay a dollar for it? I would and I would like it very much. No special modes, no different rules. Just make it work, and make it easy for people to play together. No OOS. No crashes. Allow modding for MP. Other than that keep gameplay same as SP.
<
Yes. I would also pay an additional 40 dollars if it meant I could mod MP games. You already have

I just want to look at the item before equipping it right away (I don't know if it's better than my current item for example). Can you put a third button like "Examine" that will take you to equipment screen but not equip the item right away? That would be a lot more useful.
Why bother with a button like "Exa
i am all for smarter/better/more tooltips
i am surprised no one else wants this...
Why not have the tool tips for spells just dynamically update their values based on the number of Shards you have, instead of making the player do the math? Say i have 2 fire shards "8 fire damage (+4 per shard)" how about we have instead " 16 fire damage (+4 per shard) " where the different coloring of damage indicates that is is
double post -_-
I've been out of the loop so this has probably been answered at some point in the past. Are dynasties going to make a comeback/be put in at some point for fallen enchantress? I thought it was a really neat feature

The idea i had to change where/how the event notification works. If not that then the ability to control the placement of your troops for tactical battles so your archers will stop being placed in front of the melee troops automatically, or your caster sovereigns don't have to be at the front line automatically every battle

Windows already has this function built into it in at least xp/vista/win 7 To go out of there way to make this functionality in the game would in my opinion be more trouble than its worth. For vista/win 7 go to control panel > ease of access center > "make the keyboard easier to use" > "Control mouse with the keyboard" For xp: Control panel > accessibility options > Mouse tab > use mouse keys Hopefully this helps you.
I liked your idea to need a diplomacy tech to share sight with other players, it reminds me of Age of Empires 2 where you would have to research Cartography to see your teammates. I always thought that was a cool feature and made feel unsafe till I got it because there could be a neighbhor that was the enemy, was sorta fun for MP
The prime example i think of is in Civilization 4. I played a lot of that with the Fall From Heaven 2 mod and Fall Further mod with 2 of my f

(i.e. mage, tank, or other)
Now that i think about why i want it, I see it only really matters because i can't see what the stats of an existing adventurer are currently without having them level up. So yeah probably just disregard this idea.
I'm kinda torn on this, should you be able to level up your sovereign/adventurers at a later date i.e. save up levels and spend them all at once. Or be forced to level up instantly after battle upon acquiring the necessary experience. Good stuff If you save it up you can say see where you need to place your stats on a sovereign. some games i want more mana to draw from, other games i want more intelligence, and i need to explore a bit to see how the ga
First off i would like to state I'm impressed with how well this beta has gone with the developer to testers relationship, this shows just what a beta SHOULD be. Second every time I've had an idea or an opinion on how things should be done someone else always put it out there before i ever could, but this time i got stuff to share! UI Overhaul Lets take a look at the the current UI to start with <img src="http://apoco.webs.com/Elemental/
I kinda like it, you can make the diplomacy tree have more techs to gain/produce more DC and the DC can be spent to influence people. It would be neat if you could spend just straight DC on an adventurer or use it to lower there price(i don't know about requiring for quests though). But i think of DC like a physical representation of say your reputation or negotiating talent the more you negotiate the more stressed/tired your soveriegn becomes hence needing a break to recharge. Or exp
