Well, I don't think the graphics is BAD, it certainly consists of 2D sprites with only 2 animation states (normal and attack), but I think the battles are fun to watch. What's the weakest part is arguably the interface - barely functional and very, very confusing. But as said, the game is one of the deepest out there, and poor interface/presentation are to be expected from highly complex games developed by small teams (dwarf fortress, anyone?)

Ah, I get it, by using inferior actresses as shock troops, you are hoping for the effect of cultural shock when the armies clash. However, it takes more than a stiff facial expressions and wooden pantomime to withstand the attack of fierce avvite chariots. I guess that applies not to the map itself, but to a specific game people played before us on the same map. I tried a test SP game with the same amount of players, and no problems whatsoever occurred. There is, however, a lake surrounded by land provinces - if Atlantis starts inside, he is pretty much goner ;-)

Okay, done. Couple of questions, before we start: 1) Diplomacy - what does it mean, "keep your word"? I don't think it's wise making obligatory rules about what you can and cannot say - I am a player of the tabletop "Diplomacy", and everyone can say and do whatever he pleases there... what others make of it is their problem. 2) What will be time-limit on turns? Well, I have played a few games with the new patch and I must confess it looks much, much better. I managed one science victory on Prince with Egyptians and 3 other AI, and they were quite reasonable.
