I'd really like to see something where you select an Outpost and it shows you the ZoC either as an outline or a shaded area. It'd be helpful in knowing whether you are going to be getting the boosts from that outpost before moving into that spot and possibly not having any movement left.

Is it ok to remove what looks like directories from earlier betas? Meaning, there is nothing in there being used in more current builds is there? I am currently up to 3 directory trees in my /user/my games/ directory. FallenEnchantress (looks to be current one) FallenEnchantress-beta1 (probable old directory) FallenEnchantress-beta2 (probable old directory)

I thought it always went to the same tree, except after re-loading, then it always defaults to the civ tree the first time. edit: let me add, I do agree it should *always* default back to the same tree as what you just researched.

I wonder if the crits don't maybe belong on each weapon type (blunt, cutting, piercing.) Like +crit along with apprentice swordsman upgrade. That maybe making it a bit to complicated but it would help bring some specialization and heroes wouldn't be able to go from doing massive crits with a sword to massive crits with a mace. Then also keep magic crits as their own separate crit as well.

Do you want to pump out the units early or try to hold off until you have built some better buildings in your fortress. I usually try to mix it up a bit. Lot of times those earlier units get taken down hard by some early big bad monsters nearby, so no major loss.

Agreed with the above, also in a good game. Just got hit with the random event, world becomes much more dangerous. My whole kingdom just got tons of new baddies dropped in it, yay!

City type is also clued in by the color of the icon in the city list at the top left. Red-fortress, green-town, blue-conclave.
