I'd like to see a few more variations on the "Tree" crest for elf factions.

As I tell the business people where I work, "there is no such thing as a risk free code move." I rate them by risk level, from "low risk" to "high risk". And I'd recommend firing any programmer that has any objection to a code review. I've been programming 20 years, and I welcome code reviews.
The AI element in diplomacy I always find lacking is the ability to tell an AI opponent "Do THIS or else I'll do THIS". In other words, give me city NewCity or I'll take it and two more or I'll declare war and wipe you out.
[quote who="Heavenfall" reply="8" id="2828765"]Not yet. When they are, I'll put them in this mod. Edit: The reason that I haven't is because elves require a much more significant effort than these factions. Essentially, for these factions, I just need to copy armor values. For the Elves, I need to copy armor, weapons, mounts, clothes, buildings and 10 other things. I'm almost certain a lot of those things will change between 1.09n and 1.1. So, I'm holding off on updating elves unti
Are the elves converted to 1.1?

I know it's only beta. I'm trying to decide if I'm ready to load it or not. Heaven, how do you feel about the game play aspects?
I assume you mean the one in my Faction_Loraaan.xml?
If the RaceClassification is "elves" then I can build on anything but Shards. If RaceClassification is CPELF then I can build on shards but I have double improvements as shown below:

That is in my tech tree. http://www.curtis-home.net/files/AIM.zip Thanks for looking!!
Hey, Heaven, I'm using the Elf mod but with my own custom faction. I have my own faction tech tree though it uses 100% the CPELF tech tree except for about 12 or so techs I add on top of the CPELF tree. The problem I'm having is that I'm not able to build shrines on shards. I get the message that "Your faction is not able to build on this resource" or some words to that effect. Any ideas on what the problem might be?
Just finished a battle. Saved game is from just before the start of the battle and debug.err from right after the crash. Clicking on the link should give you the option to save the zip file. If not, let me know and I'll find another way to get you the zip file. http://www.curtis-home.net/Files/debug.zip

I've created my own faction and some other stuff too so let me see how easy it is to separate this out. Edit: I believe this should work for you: http://www.curtis-home.net/Files/CPELFHighElves.zip
HF, you are correct that the models are too similar in appearance. I went with the silvery hair and "fair" complexion. The nobility has nearly white hair while the lower class has silver hair. If I had the artistic touch, I'd probably try and create my own models, but my skills run more towards the technical side of things. Maybe it's a generational thing, but I can't stand tatoos - except perhaps on "evil" characters. In my opinion (for what that's worth (not
Never mind. I found it.
Heaven, Nothing personal (everyone has their own taste) but I couldn't stand the models you chose for the elves. (I'm an old fart, set in my ways and stuck on that Tolkien elf thing) so I went in and changed the available elf models to something more agreeable to me. My problem is, I can't figure out how to change the models displayed on the Sovereign creation screen and the invisible female head. I know it must be an XML tag somewhere but I can't seem to find it. Th

NM. Was one of those 'over 50' brain farts!
I agree with Heavenfall. The bow you designed already would be excellent for an Empire race, but an elven bow would need a much more elegant look to it. Heaven, there was someone else who was making beautiful weapons. Did he ever release his art?
Thanks in advance for the bows!! I can't wait to see them.
I would love several really elegant looking bows. Especially something suitable for elves. To wit: Composite Bow Compound Bow (with pulleys) Crystal Bow Element Bows (Earth, Fire, Air and Water) If you've seen Avatar, the Chief's Bow (Neytiri's father, Eytukan) would ROCK!! <img src="http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100427060913/jamescameronsavatar/images/6/63/Eytukan_dying.jpg" alt="Eytuk
