I'd love to be able to upgrade a unit I have to have a new magic accessory I got instead of having to train a whole new unit that is exactly the same but with that one item in the design. Pretty much the only complaint I have left about the unit design/creation system since you're already addressing weapon type limitations for upgrades.
I've seen the "few troops decide to stay outside" bug after taking a city, but have yet to figure out what the hell is causing it.
More unique traits for each race is a great idea, but do NOT remove the innate +1 move Mancers get, especially for the crap replacement you suggest.
Not really unique to Pariden, and as Naidrev pointed out, they don't even do it best, any faction using Wraiths does.
See, I love using this + river bridge to spread out more, I snake between unpassable terrain like mountains and chasms so enemies have no choice but to go through the city. Makes an excellent defense point, especially if it's a Fortress, doubly so if you have the Defensive faction trait.
But what if you're an Empire summoner with the Tactical Skeleton summons? Having a second casting of those would be very useful indeed.
I am not able to make the Mythic Harvest Festival or Mythic Tool Smith, Mythic Ritual Site and Mythic Crystal Chamber worked just fine however.
4. Re-introduce snaking for piers and logging camps That shouldn't be hard to do... maybe add a bridge building to go across rivers too. Before I mod anything in the game though, we should wait till its relatively feature closed.
I'm using your snaking mod from FE just fine in LH.
I like global unrest reduction over local unrest reduction actually, makes keeping the champion on the frontlines gaining experience viable.
But yeah, money really isn't that useful in this game beyond rushing items.
Unless you have Betrayers, then you can literally buy the world!
The only time I use Administrator is when a hero I get already has it. I don't level anything other than my sov and even still it feels so damn slow.
I was going to remark that I've had no issues with this, but then I remembered I disabled cloud saving since I only use 1 computer to play and a bad experience with loading from the cloud instead of a local save and losing a ton of progress as a result.
I'm not sure about masterpiece, at least not yet, but LH is definitely well on there way there with the improvements from vanilla Fallen Enchantress.
Yes, for being weapons you get with the Defensive trait, it sure is odd how a Defender doesn't get anything to be better with spears.
What I want to know is how you have a city that is a Level 10 Village.
Yeah, it's begun to get on my nerves, kill enemies on a lair only to have the AI steal the rewards from you. I've started doing the same to them it's so annoying. AFAIK this was pretty much the reason for getting rid of it, so you could kill and loot in one turn.
I just wish I could right click one of the hotbar slots to put a new ability in there, instead of needing to pick skill/spell/item, then the specific thing I want, THEN where I want it to go. And if you screw up at any point during that you could accidentally be using an ability instead of changing which one is in that slot.
I think having generic Mage traits that vary what they give based on what actual elements you have access to is a great idea, helps differentiate multiple Mages from each other.
I noticed Magnar liked to spam Slaves as well, I barely had to even use swarm to kill him.
Hehehe, isn't Steam great? Where are all the Steam fanbois with their "it's NOOOO problem playing offline!" when you need them, hm?
We're too busy being tech literate and not having issues with such simple "problems".
maybe the accumulated fame could also trigger small random events like "a merchant has come to town XY, attracted by stories of your great deeds, he has some artifacts for sale. do you want to buy the Axe of Roflstomping or the Hammer of Pwnage for X gildar?". so you could basically gat some good items for your high level sov without relying entirely on luck.
Great idea, MoM had this as well iirc. Though I
I agree that the Defender path feels odd, especially since you only get a few abilities that let you defend for others. Otherwise the Defender just makes himself really tough and get ignored while not doing a whole lot himself. Even worse are the additional defense when defending traits, they only get used when not able to attack, like when you are moving to the enemy. How about passive auras that benefit units that stay near the hero? Or some type of vengeance mechanic that works like Reveng
Insta-raze is in the patch notes for LH, it's intended. Anyways, to address the unrest issues, Dsraider pretty much has the right of it. Rushing a Bell Tower + casting Bless City + moving in your Administrator champ that sticks behind on conquests for this situation will help a great deal. Oh, and having a couple Fortresses with Prisons/Obsidian Thrones helps too.
Yes, I too have noticed situations where I demolished a building only to be able to build off of where the building used to be. Very abusable with Piers.
