I upped mana cost. Typical cost for elementals are around 50 strategic and around 40 tactical. Other summons vary but somewhere around there, either higher or slightly lower. It is possible to remove bonuses from shards of course. Let me know if the new mana costs are better though. In my mod, it isn't necessary to balance large vs small empires because I use population much more. A new small city is not going to be able to produce many armies

Thanks for the feedback Andarvi, I am happy to get some discussion of features. I removed unrest with number of cities. I never saw it as a very immersive thing. If you think it should be back in, I am willing to listen to your reasoning on it. As for the summons, i intentionally took out mana upkeep. I wanted to make it so that someone who focused on summoning could be very powerful but it does need to be balanced. I also like being able to summo
Well the first couple of levels will be quick because you only need like 9 xp for lvl 2 and 18 for lvl 3, but it should get better. Let me know how it is for later levels.

Okay, I updated the file and finally got around to putting the mod on Nexus so I will update the first thread with info. Also, I lowered XP gain from cities and battles, let me know if it is good now or still needs to be tweaked.

Okay, I will play with the numbers for the next version and perhaps we will find the sweet spot.
It usually takes me like 100+ turns to get to level 13. I am usually around 20 by 250 turns or so. By the time I have armies in all chain and such I am usually around 27 or so. I personally like that but if people really want me to slow it down, I will.
In my mod, I have made it so that the adventurer's guild gives 10xp per turn. I also have towns giving XP per turn so a level 5 town with an adventurers guild gives I think either 20 or 30 xp per turn, I forgot which. For lower level heroes this is a lot but higher level heroes it is about right but I also have lower xp amounts needed for level up too.

I also use snaking and the bridge mod which go excellent with this. There is no way that I know of to adjust the default growth given from food surplus, it may be hard coded. However, these are some of the things I do, even if I do not have the sovereigns call spell which gives +20 to growth, it is imperative to get a commander hero. Your sovereign gives +10 to growth, if you didn't know, also the tower of dominion gives a bonus to growth so your first town will gro

Sure Dorno, happy to help. First if you want to use Children of the Storm, you have to download Children of the storm from Heavenfall's thread. That must be downloaded first and follow his instructions to install it. Then you download the immersion mod. There are files and some folders in the download. The mods folder must be placed into: C:\Users\Name\Documents\MyGames\LegendaryHeroes You will overwrite anything it says to overwrite, if you have succes

I have to change how I am integrating Children of the Storm for copyright reasons, apologize for that. I will reupload files and tell you exactly how you can do it, let me take some time to do that, will take links down for a bit.
I like to hear any opinion heh. In the three kingdoms era, they did in fact wear Iron armor, soldiers that were heavy units wore iron armor and a lot of it. They also had large shields and spears. Anyway I decided to add a little bit of training time to chainmail and higher class armors. I don't know exactly how much extra time it will mean for training though. Need to test. Also finished integrating CoS, so I am uploading version 1.0 now.

Well, it is compatible with CoS, I mean it will work its just that CoS wont have some of the features my mod has so I have to manually edit Units and abilities and such in CoS to bring it to full compatibility. You can certainly play them both together but for example, if you are using a CoS faction and you train units they will not use up population. So I have to edit all the units to use population. Okay, a lot of CoS is already compatible I believe and I have edited some other things already. Now I just need to look through all the CoS factions and units and change some things. It actually wont take me long to make it compatible. It may need to be tested to be sure though.
