I just feel that the current default encumbrance limit is a bit low for what the units are using. As you say it makes the strength and muscle traits a necessity... not even a choice any more but something that you just have to take. I wouldn’t mind being able to take a very slow heavily armoured unit, even if it wasn’t necessarily a good idea but being pigeon holed into having to take those particular traits doesn’t quite seem right... Why are my soldiers so wimpy? Mace/Shield and full leather is 100 encumbrance? I’m all for having the choice of fast vs heavily armoured but when your basic troops can’t even manage to wear full leather without collapsing under the weight of it all there is something not quite right. Currently the AI seems a bit too focused. After doing a quest with my Sov (Magnar) and 2 units of slaves with spears I caused a dragon to begin chasing me. The dragon was quite persistent and the whole process of desperate fleeing ended up looking like the scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail when the knights are being chased by the Beast of Aaaaauuuugggggghhh. I have witnessed an AI hero go skipping through a wildland as if he was gathering flowers for his poor sick grandma. The most enraging thing is that once he had skipped past the numberless ravening hoards he made a new friend in the guise of a neutral hero and then they both skipped back through the aforementioned ravening hoard to safety! Hello guys, I've been playing around with creating quests, as it seems that quests are a fun but sadly under used part of Elemental, i get bored of the same 10 quests game in game out. So please find attatched my first quest. Hopefully more will follow, i've already got a couple that im currently testing... please give it a try and see what you think. Im trying to make some quests, as i feel Elemental while a great game is sadly lacking a good diverse number of them. But i cannot for the life of me get it to work. I cant seem to make a goodyhut spawn. My sample quest is below and when you visit the quest location it just throws up the text, then the next objective (Kill the trolls) and then... nothing, no spawn. Any help would be greately appriciated. I've left the location xml in so it can be tested if you need to (

I've gone back to Elemental from Civ 5. Civ 5 isnt a bad game but it does feel like something is missing and im not 100% sure what. It has some great upgrades from Civ 4, the combat is so much better and i like the social policies which kind of "level up" your civ. Having said that some things, like the social policy bit do feel a little bit like mini games, the city states im a little half and half on.
