Thanks for all these updates! However I disagree with the warlock nerf (from +50 down to +25). Will there be another "ability" available to bump spell damage up another 25%?
Borg999
That spell randomly summons either a bear, snake or wolf.
I guess this overlaps with an existing request... Hiergamenon Have the Hiergamenon as the "one stop" source for all game rules/mechanics/prerequisites/spells/effects/magic items, etc.
you might as well for your conqurer victory if you need power rating high....
The AI won't form an alliance with you unless your power rating is greater than theirs. Sure, you could do a conquest victory, but that takes time, and sometimes you just want to end the game.
No. It's just not built into the game. A number of people have asked for it since FE, but SD has chosen not to add that feature.
Just make sure your power rating is substantially higher than theirs.

I agree with the OP. [e digicons]k1[/e]
1. Border colors should have two colors like the city-states in Civ V so that they don't look so similar. For example, Pariden should blue and white. Resoln should be blue and black.
+1 to this! Some faction colors are too similar now.
Just like the title says. Even though I'm not at war with anyone and I have friendly relations, some of the factions periodically pop up and say "let's end this war"
I think the reason why the AI is "programmed" to be quick to war and hard to make peace with...is to protect itself from being blindsided by a human player. Remember in GC2 - if you parked a fleet on the border, the AI would pop up and say "I know what you're doing"... Well it's the same basic concept. The AI is the way it is, to counter those kind of tactics.
Quoting Borg999, reply 70 Yes! And this is why I think sovereigns and heros should get to choose 2 spells/abilities per level instead of just one. In the current state of the game a level 13 Sovereign would get 26 traits which would allow him to reach the end of one of his trait line, max his school of magic, pick up potential III, get some handy perk like life regeneration or spell mastery
But even at level 14-16 heroes are just getting halfway through one of their specific trait line.
Yes! And this is why I think sovereigns and heros should get to choose 2 spells/abilities per level instead of just one.
I agree with the OP, with a small difference. I think that large monsters like a dragon, or epic monsters like the ancients gods can destroy a city, but attacks from all other monsters should just reduce population or destroy a building or two.
The initial/base game requires more time and resources, and thus cost more than an expansion. If cost is an issue, just wait until it goes on sale. Remember FE was discounted just a month after release...
hightower mostly to expand connections and get more resources.
I do the same.
No need to get bent out of shape. there's a simple solution. Vote with your dollars. If you don't like Steam, simply don't purchase games that require it. If enough people feel the same way you do, Steam will suffer financially. However, you are currently in the minority, so save you energy for constructively getting your point across. People have commented on my writing style, but boy, do you take the cake..
Yea, this is a known issue with auto resolve.
1. Leveling is a lot less fun. It's slow - It's not just that leveling is slow, though. The level-up trees lead to fewer meaningful decisions. In FE, I'd usually choose between 2-3 good abilities and 2-3 bad (well, undesirable) abilities at each level up. In LH, I make one decision from the start: what capstone ability am I going for? Then I pretty much take the prereqs for that, most of which are not very
Yes to keep players from exploiting the ai. Now you can't afford them so easily as it should be.
I'm not sure how you could exploit the AI with such weak units... But anyway, IMO, they aren't worth 4.5 gildar. So, I just won't use them.
There is a large square pillar with human statues in the center of the tactical map (when attacking an AI city) that both my and the AI units can walk and attack through as if it isn't there.
I thought they had been changed to .5 gildar in FE. Was a decision made to bring it back up to 4.5?
Ok, thanks, I guess I was mistaken.
I recently earned enough fame to choose my second hero. Both choices seemed to be weaker than the first hero I recruited. By the time I got the second one, the monsters I was fighting were too strong for it. So, I suggest that each subsequent hero be stronger in level and abilities than the previous selection.
What exactly is your point?
I just felt it was odd that SD felt the need to add qualifying language. It's blatantly obvious that we're playing a beta. This is really the only game forum I visit, so I guess I wasn't thinking about the type of people Darxim and Heavenfall mentioned above.
