Thanks for your feedback guys. Has anyone experienced the "stuck" path finding that I mentioned in the OP? I've notice that sometimes when I choose a long path for a unit to follow, the unit will often stay where it is no matter how many times I press the turn button. I end up having to babysit the unit, and give it multiple "short path" orders to get it to it's ultimate destination.
Borg999
In general, I understand that a small version change might be 1.1 to 1.2 and a large change might be 1.0 to 2.0, but what exactly determines a version number? Is there a consistent industry standard? (e.g. 100 bug fixes = a .5 increase) Or is it at the whim of the developer? Just curious....
quoting postIMO, death magic needs a "cloud walk" equivalent. Why? Cloud Walk is an Air spell and any mage can take Air Magic regardless of their Kingdom/Empire (Life/Death) allegiance.
So you can play a "pure" death magic sovereign.
Right now you have to select a unit, find the city you want the unit to go to, and select it. It would be far easier to be able to have a "go to city" unit option. (as well as a "go to stack" order...when for example, I want a newly trained unit to join my sovereign's stack) On a small map it's not a big deal, but on a large map with a vast empire, this can be a pain. On an another note...I've notice that sometimes when I choose a long path for a unit to fo

You have to realize the wildlands are no longer visible after they have turned so you just have to probe a little to find a suitable target location. Of course that's what I do now.
I attempted a cloudwalk into wildlands last night. I got a message saying that I could only do it within my own territory. So I believe it's working as designed..

So in my current game, when I look off the coast, I see an island with treasure. I understand that one of the custom maps in the DLC allows sea travel, but I don't have the map pack yet.
I think the best solution is to cloudwalk one tile just outside the wildlands.

He takes the chance of war when you are occupied in another war, instead of waiting until you get even stronger. He isnt so interested in just sitting on his back waiting to be annexed it seems....
Interesting perspective. I guess the limited diplo options make war his only choice.
??? I'm pretty sure that the AI looks at the power ratings.
I think it has to do with two factors. The average age here is 32, whereas on other sites, it's much lower, and turn based strategy games tend to attract thoughtful thinkers vs. other games that attract "trigger finger" types.
In the last sentence, I believe the faction name was meant to be inserted, but the sovereign name is listed instead.

I'm glad someone explained what stamps are. I'm definitely going to pick this up!
So, I thought it was about time to choose an avatar. I uploaded one in accounts/profiles, but I still see the generic avatar. Is there something else I need to do? Thanks!
Playing as the Kraxis empire. I researched wild land allies and heros, ogre lair is within my borders, but the only option is to raze.

They claim the concept was originally from the Precursors (most likely the faction of Precursors called Dread Lords) who believed that Aul (wh

So is SD officially and completely abandoning WoM after FE is released? Also,I gather from the info on the board that FE will essentially be a fantasy version of Civ4?. I've already played Fall from Heaven....

Hi, No system requirements have been published yet, so I'd like to request, ...no plea, that Elemental has the same system requirements as GalCiv2 (all versions). Thanks! B.
