Nice letter there C-knight. [e digicons]k1[/e] Totally agree. I have played through one set of original floppy disks on MoM and then the CD. Tried it a few times to ease the blood dripping from my eyes during Beta 1 & 2 of EWoM, [e digicons]^_^[/e] That kept me partly sane. One of the most enlightening aspects for this while it was under development was the deluge knowledge. I have never in my long career(?) of gaming, seen the high level of information and feedback from

Great to be involved and looking forward to your baby arriving & growing up! Cheers, Sleet [e digicons][/e]
Using as a boat anchor is another good way to make sure.
Damn glad I pre-ordered and then upgraded my order. I recall making old maps and scrolls burning the edges & using teato weather the paper while DMing (no part of my was a pyro I will have you know! ). The best was using a chunk of old canvas from my Dad's old WW2 Army tent he had thrown away. I used inks and all and made a map. The players really thought it was cool. Had that up on the gaming wall for a number of years. Great stuff [e digicons]:frogboy:[/e] and DEVs!</p
Always thought those adventurers should be skinned alive once they entered a town.. I really like the spider option. Great story FB. Looking forward to more.
Great stuff [e digicons]:frogboy:[/e] Amazing the changes from BETA1 (I still see a psychiatrist once a week). Also like the little tinges of humour too. [e digicons][/e]
Summer sure went fast. GOLD.. Great news [e digicons]:frogboy:[/e] & team! Take a vacation.. was it enjoyable? Great, now back to work! [e digicons][/e]
Too cool, thanks for the early glimpse [e digicons]:frogboy:[/e] .
Never enough turn-based game to play these days! (I did a search and did not find anything in the forum on this game) Have not seen a good World War 2 turn-based game since Steel Panthers. This game might just take the crown. Battlefield Academy Link
Awesome.. Hope they have a manual like Darklands. Another more recent manual (ringed) is Dominions 3. 1st of August today.. not much longer! Go [e digicons]:frogboy:[/e] & DEVs!
Pirated software is always a threat. but in this case I don't think it will impact much sales for SC2. some information to note that can be found on various sites: Projected first fiscal year of sales Activision Blizzard could be on track to sell 7 million copies of StarCraft II in the first fiscal year when it finally is released next week, according to industry sources. If this proves to be tru
I use Microsoft Security Essentials does an awesome job. Free Great reviews All in one app. Used to use Avast and AVG and various spyware checkers (Adaware, Spybot, rootkit checkers etc- still run these, never can be too careful)
Try Enigma instead. My fav for calm and good background music for complex tasks while I program. (as noted by psychoravin) Don't want some Enya sovereign giving out quests to ignorant parties of would-be
Great books, just reading one currently. A mod for elemental is the way to go. As well the upcoming TV series will hopefully not be trash.. As for the game I will pass.
Ahh ok. I will have (actually have already done one in the BETA) a faction based on the Empire from Fred's novel. GreyHawk: Scarlet Brotherhood Against the giants module would have an interesting faction, The giants and the drow and all their slaves.. will work on this one too. edit - re: old LOL, now I will have to go home and check all my old greyhawk settings manuals and books.. all stored in the garage somewhere.<img src="http
Good ideas Raven X. AD&D realm using the Greyhawk world of course! [e digicons]:)[/e] much better (IMHO) than FR. Maybe it shows my ancientness. Link Another excellent option: Fred Saberhagen's Empire of the East series. An excellent series and based upon a post apocalyptic world where magic is now prevalent. <a title="Link" href="http://en
The clan system or tourneys for that matter can all be done outside of the game. Perhaps it could be part of the Impulse engine. Or a separate website if some have the inclination to run it. I only hope for PBEM for multi-player. Online playing is not my cup of tea. I will stick to the single player otherwise. (which is okay in some ways as the focus from the DEVs is there)
Amazon.ca is selling it which is good for us Canucks. I like the bio too: Brad Wardell is the President & CEO of Stardock, a Midwestern software company. Mr. Wardell is the lead designer of Elemental: War of Magic and is active in software development, designing and c
Awesome. Was just playing some Elemental and then saw your post [e digicons]:frogboy:[/e] . Appreciate your teams efforts in the MOD areas. This will (we all hope and I know) keep the game alive and allow you to capitalize on it - to sate your evil $$$ side - as well as NwN has for Bioware. Funnily enough I still do some modding and creating in NWN just for fun. Still play with a group even. MODs for that have included: Star Wars <li
Keep the option available for both. If it is already in why remove. I like the option to have a slider as well. Especially once we have armies and troops more prevalent.
I had same issue. It seemed hit and miss with the new Elemental launcher. What I did was bypass the new elemental launcher and ran the game from the elemental.exe (shortcut). Launched no problem then.
Guess it was my post that did it. I used up too much essence to form the post... [e digicons]:banhammer:[/e] Unfortunately I cannot edit or delete it..
*
BTW, I found a really nasty bug today where the game XML threads could (and were) getting aborted. This would keep tiles and such from being loaded, particularly on slower machines, with the result of a LOT of random crashes. Took several hours to track it down but feel good about going to bed now. Tomorrow, NPC work.
Ahh always loved that feeling of finding that nagging bug or app
I really like how the game is coming together. Lots of great info on the next phase. Thanks [e digicons]:frogboy:[/e] & team! Re: spells and mana costs, I don't have an issue where an enchantment costs me a few mana a turn to keep active. It should not cut into my casting ability (except at actual casting time of course! ). Maintaining buff spells on my units was not an issue as long as there is a good interface to do it. For instance E
There is a .pdf document that lists all the changes in the update. Here is the Foreword: The changes in this version were primarily motivated to 1) balance races, units, heroes, and magic realms; 2) edit out or around the various bugs in the game, including many spells; and 3) fix a wide number of text mistakes and ambiguities. The end result is that there should be a reason to make every kind of unit, at
