But but....if this site is going down then where can a skinner find a new home? (I've really been too busy in my skinning world to actually check messageboards and postings to see what has been going on). Any suggestions? Where did the old community go? I did one upgrade, no reformatting and it has worked fine ever since. I upgraded from win2000 pro. System is a Pentium 4 1.4 GHz, 512 Megs of memory, 80 gig harddrive, nVidia Geforce 3. XP seems stable, looks nicer. All games I've played have worked fine, 3D Studio MAX runs smoothly, in fact, everything I've tried runs faster.

We used to have a couple of palm devices (black and white and the color one) then I bought a Compaq Ipaq. The difference is like night and day...palm looks bleak after using the Ipaq...slow and cumbersome to use. Pocket PCs offer much more -> mp3 playing, high res movies, internet browsing, office programs (like excel, word), better looking games, more processor power. Micro$oft, Micro$oft, Micro$oft, Micro$oft, Micro$oft. Eh, well, I was wondering if M____soft will actually continue supporting and developing for win2000 after XP is released - or will their new releases be compatible with win2000. It would really be a drag to have to upgrade our 1000+ workstations to XP...when we haven't even finished our win2000 upgrade yet.
