Example: I made a quest today where your group is attacked in a huge temple. Well, the quest xml lets me specify a map. So I made a series of tiles with the tile editor and then a map that used those tiles to create a temple where my guys were attacked by a bunch of Crypt Warriors. I could even name the individual monsters in the room (I named one Dennis, sorry, I can’t help myself).
I for one, would really
Nuemcy
- Crash more - Peons go missing for no apparent reason - Heros auto generate in town for no reason - Get level 8 dungeons and monsters when I cannot get to past level 1 - Over all game balance wacked so... what am I looking for in terms of beta testing?? you guys are just throwing out all the crap code to us right?? you have a stable brilliant copy you run internally?? gonna need a pretty big rag for
Yeah!!!
The ONLY feature you guys should be worrying about is the computer AI
Seems to me, from what testing I've done, that the AI is causing a large load on overall game play. Last testing interation I went through, I had a drake on the map that simply kept walking around the map outside of turn based clicks. Once killed, lightened up the cpu load conciderably and smoothed out game play. Speaking of which, I noticed that your video only showed very little end o
Thank you for your dedication Frogboy starting cities are very important so far from what I've been able to find. Though, that seems to make me feel like once I start up the game, my foot is on the gas and I can't let up else I will just get run over by the computer. Is it possilble to have it so that there is a hunt for the right real estate (for both sides) prior to laying down roots? and to then set it so there are different sites with different 'good' qualitie
Good post, thank you
not a bug.. need to be at a beach basically a lowered portion of terrain that looks to be going into the water
Am I missing something, or is this a click fest?? is there someway easier to move about the map? tried arrows and enter button, but the game stutters so much I end up having to hit enter twice to get my sovereign to move the 1/2 inch I clicked him to move to! and the arrows where not much better, up... down...up...down.... zzzzzz Created a new game with large multiple continents and clicked hundreds of times to only in short run into 3 NPCs and do maybe 8 quests?? Seemed
Ditto on this, have 2 towns, created a caravan from each and sent them to each other, as soon as they where to disappear into town, CTD
Played around with some of the video settings and got it to smooth out some, hasn't crashed yet on this game (5x). Removed Anti-Aliasing, Disabled Bump-mapping, removed font smoothing, clip cursor on full screen. Think AA had most to do with it, other changes are just me testing Win 7 64-bit 2 Gig RAM AMD 6400+ NVid 7650 GT
Ditto for me on this
Papermap sometimes files in dark instead of the normal coloring, thought it was a day/night cycle at first heh http://pastebin.com/QrkCJWCA
Adventure window in external link shows the next break through in 4294967294 and the lower right shows -3 not sure if this is just GUI related or not as there is aslo some clipping on the right http://pastebin.com/QrkCJWCA

Wow! that's a lot of work in the past 6 days!! congrats! can't wait to stress test this bad boy!! [e digicons]:andrew:[/e]
"...where people on various external forums...", don't give into hate, it leads to the dark side! [e digicons]:cylon:[/e] stay true to you, don't give into peer pressure, you got a good thing going...
The zoom is what got my attention to this game when I first starting paying attention, was a very neat aspect I had not seen before... (oohh! shinny), so I say keep it, it's good eye candy.
Endofdayz Then again, my opinion is stupid. [e digicons]:S[/e] Your opinion is not stupid, your attitude and approach to presenting your points is immature and abrasive, so might offend. I might think too that someone should have pointed this out to you long ago?
well, after reading the first paragraphs of your "The Hiergamenon" upon getting home from work and I am questioning the quality of your thoughts on the back story. It really seems very very jumbled and not properly though out as yet... hopefully still beta too?? I re-wrote paragraph II to possibly spark a better look at your story writing? I am no professional author and don't account this to be any better than what you have already, but, just feel it can be written a little more conc

Heh, just mentioned this in one of my forum posts! sweet! "Units can escape from battle. However, each unit that leaves the battlefield causes a morale hit to those remaining." Thank you Frogboy, cannot (but unfortunately have to) wait to get hands in on this and "The Hiergamenon"

In turn, this might also open the door for another mechanic of the possibility of getting 'jumped' out in the open by opposing forces So, after having evaluated their troops, you are given the option to to flee [e digicons]:(O[/e] the fight... run away, run away!! This would then impose a randomly generated negative effect, take away stats or impact how you are viewed in the world, or you lose armor (ala, having to flee after being woken up from sleeping at c
