Still happening for me. I had hoped the recent patch would help, but no such luck. It's annoying that even when I have a massive army and I'm fighting one sad little tadpole my casters will use all of their mana with auto-resolve, and I'm forced to auto-resolve every few battles because my troops won't obey me. Heck, even I won't obey me.

Just bought the game, updated to 1.09. Besides the usual bugs, I've got one that I can't uncover any reference to in my searching. Sandbox game, I have Intimidation but so does my enemy. From time to time in battles I get a huge wall of Panicked! spamming over all units, the accompanying noise of which is like a drumroll or automatic weapons fire, and both my and my opponent's forces are frozen under their huge red Panicked! signs.
