For those of you that may not know, it looks like the game is supposed to be released on the 19th. http://store.steampowered.com/app/232050/

Mine was doing that as well, it was due to Steam snycing my saves to its cloud storage. After I turned it off I have not had any problems. That may or may not be the problem the rest of you are having, so I am just throwing that out there in case it might help.
And compared to AI reasoning, which I consider the best avenue for creating truly sentient machines, adversarial searches are extremely fast- it can take a supercomputer hours to work through a simple reasoning problem (although, and we computer scientists are still trying to figure out why, many hideously complex problems can be solved almost instantly).
Part of the problem may be in the different memory syste
The ONLY engine I'm aware of that is close to existing that could do next-gen is what Uber is building. And even there, I'd imagine they'd have to support 32-bit which means they'll have to severely limit those players (either smaller maps or fewer units). But Uber's engine, I suspect, is massively multithreaded so it can put together a proper job system for parallel rendering/physics/path finding/etc. &nbs

I agree with what has already been said before, keep on polishing FE. I have found one of the more interesting things is the story thread between the Elemental and Galactic Civilizations universes.

I have enjoyed those types of games myself, it just takes finding the right people to play with, or finding the right kind of MOBA, such as some obscure ones that I played where always fun because they did not attract huge droves of people which inevitably leads to problems such as Heavenfall mentioned.

Very nice, it will be nice to eventually not have to do everything by hand with the xml files.
what about the quest that spawns an air elemental shard - that would be somehing to look at.
Thank-you, that worked. Strange that I had attempted something similar before, because I thought that game might have a mechanism for creating shards. I guess that I probably did not have everything in the gamemodifier tags correct. Thanks again Glowing_Ember for alerting me to that quest.

I have been attempting to create a spell that will place new resources on the map, such as shards. But I have been unable to get it to work, I have gotten as far as being able to place the art object for the resource on the map with CreateWorldProp, but no farther, it just ends up being a piece of scenery, not a functional resource. I am wondering if trying to do that is even possible, and if it might be possible, how could it be achieved? Thank-you for your time.</
