I really like the idea that your Soveriegn can be captured in battle and depending on his level, your side has to pay a ransom to get him back. Its what was done in the medieval ages. Take a huge hit if you lose, but have the chance of coming back. Perhaps even have the chance to escape through a Dungeon like quest (for those with not enough resources to ransom him/her back), with the idea that if the escape fails, you are done for. jorune
When I start Elemental from within it's program folder, the screen goes black and I get the 'feather' icon, but nothing. I waited 10 minutes once in case textures were loading. Than I started up Impulse and ran the program from there, and it worked just fine. I was connected to the internet on both occasions. I am not sure if it's a bug, since perhaps the Impulse overlay allows SD to track user information; I also understand that Elemental multiplayer will rely on Impul
I have the same issue on my Dell Laptop, using a mouse. It just scrolls as far as it can go, so I don't see the map. After a little while it stops. jorune

I think this kind of open information is just great. In other beta's there's almost a lack of respect for the tester's whereas this makes you feel more involved and integeral to the process. Jorune
I used my 20% coupon they gave out to the early Demigod adopters and purchased Elemental. That was back in late May I believe. I simply have faith in Stardock games, whether they make 'em OR just publish them. Jorune
