I would want it. You will always have those dicks who will always hate the new version of the old thing they love no matter how good the new version is( Firaxis XCOM or Beth Fallout), but fuck those guys. Stardock Star Control sounds awesome.
That's why they invented 4chan and somethingawful and RPGCodex. Keeps "those dicks" quarantined. :-)

I hate to say it but most of these suggestions would turn the game into a tedious mess. I think they are great ideas for minders to try out but I don't want to be forced to play the game you guys seem to want. i would rather they spend time polishing and enhancing what they have.

I've been finding that the AI casts a lot of spells on me strategically but the game doesn't always do a good job informing me that this has happened. I'd like there to be a notification.

Finally getting some time to try out the latest betas. You know, I liked Fallen Enchantress. It was a good game. Unfortunately, after playing Legendary Heroes, I don't know if I'll ever play FE again. LH is just that much better for me.
I think it is reasonable to expect support for games, and expect announced patches to be released. It's not undeserved entitlement to want updates and fixes for games one has paid for. The notion that purchasing a product doesn't entitle one to customer service is actually utterly bizarre to me. However, I do not think this means that customers are entitled to be abusive jerks toward anyone.
That's a strawma
I would like to transport you back to the early to mid 90's. You didn't have day one patches because games were tested and released when they were ready not when the publishers wanted them out. Games didn't ship bug free but they didn't ship in the broken state a large majority of games of today do. I can tell you I am unimpressed with your attitude and dismissal of a person d

Wow Chib, way to detour into crazy town. I wonder, do you know the names of the people who programmed these forums? How about the person who designed the font that you use to type your diatribe? Do you know the name of the person who chose the colors for the forum you're using? No? Then where do you get off complaining if FB doesn't know the names of whoever cleans the Stardock building? The problem with people like you is that you use your unearned holier-than-t

The last update came out less than 48 hours ago and people are complaining about a lack of support? Wow. As for modding, yes, like 99.999% of other games out there, there are some files you have to modify in the game directory. Most games I play that are modded have a utility, made by modders, that will swap in and out different data files. FE at least lets you modify and extend the game in all sorts of ways without doing that. I think ti would be more reasonable f
v1.12 was released just a couple weeks ago. Version 1.2 is in development. We don't plan to put out more than 1 update per month (though we did put out 2 updates in December but that's the exception). We are listening to your suggestions and requests and add them to the list.
In fact, the last update was released 5 days before Christmas. A whopping 2 weeks ago. Appa
MOM playing on a small map with 4 computer opponents set to hard or impossible definitely has a better AI challenge.
MOM wasn't capable of conquering other players. The only thing higher difficulties did was make it quicker at casting the spell of making or whatever it was called. What makes FE's AI nice is that on its challenging level it provides a pretty good challenge and it's not getting bonuses. The same can'
Come on guys, fix it - the whole saga is doing your credibility the world of harm.
I think you'd likely get more support without the drama. I play the game all the time and I've never run into it. I don't doubt you have. But saying it's ruining Stardock's credibility or that FE is stumbling on it sounds like something out of Star Trek conventions "Man, remember in episode 67. Since this is the best fantasy strategy game I've played in years, I'm pretty happy. I can think of lots of directions they can take from here. I saw your thread about AOW:SM. The problem with that game is that it really didn't have any AI. I think ones appreciateion of Fallen Enchantress will come down to how important it is to have decent computer players to go up against. The only AI that remotely touches this game's is Civilization IV's (not
