The only movie I've ever walked out on was The Last Air Bender. What about you? What movies have you walked out on, why?
Quoting Mmrnmhrm, reply 109I think it's totally legitimate to call someone out who predicted a metacritic average of 68 as being someone whose point of view is out of the mainstream. I don't think the pro reviewers are mainstream. Rather, I think that a person who thinks that the pro reviewers would give this game a 68 is out of the mainstream. Do you think the same of those who predicted a 90+ metacritic? <

This game sucks because it's steam only!! This game is crap because it's a sequel and doesn't have this minor part of the game or changed from 3rd person to first person! Player reviews are total shit. That's just p
The fact that it is not a 'what would you rate this game?' thread is, actually, exactly my point -- professional reviewers aren't "mainstream" fans. Die-hard fans are befuddled Diablo III is being lambasted for its atrocious copying of Assassin's Creed's rightfully blasted 'single player games should require constant connection to our servers, and we aren't responsible for maintaining our servers eve

So trolling me will not affect that. Yea, and you said 68. So when you give your "opinion" in the future we can reflect how mainstream it is. And when you give "your" opinion in the future, I can reflect how you substitute mainstream/popularity for merit/value.
If this

The user reviews on metacritc or anywhere else on games are useless. The prediction thread is about what the review score will be by professional reviewers. Not kids who gave it a 0 "just because".
Well if you guys disagree like I did, log on there and say so. If we want to see more games like this made, we need to stand up for it. I just did.
The comment about Warlock sums it up. If you are looking for a game you consume in a few weeks, FE isn't for you. Which game do you think people will still be playing in a year? Warlock or FE? It's a shame that reviewers are rewarding games like XCOM, which come and in 20 to 30 hours of play but are critical of games that have a lot of pieces available. If you play as one faction, some pieces of the world aren't very relevant. I understand what
Oh please yourself. If the game was buggy, the forum would be full of angry people. Not people proclaiming it as game of the year.
Don't feed the troll. This is the same person who said Torchlight was "garbage".

@FemmeFatal, I am sure your prediction will be just as accurate as your opinion on Torchlight being garbage .
It'll be word of mouth that makes or breaks this game. Anyone who likes the game might want to spread the word. I remember that being something that made Sins of a Solar Empire a success back in the day. People would post about it on forums and give their honest experiences with it.
I'm going to say mid to high 60's, with the game receiving accolades for its ambition and getting very harsh and well deserved criticism for what will be called an uneven mix of RPG and RTS. They will get this impression due to the uneven flow of the game, causing champions/spells/monsters/soldiers seem extremely overpowered relative to each other at different points in the game. This was, of course, a disgustingly obvious truth
I'm not sure if he's trolling or serious. Calls the game unfinished with his first complaint being that there is no army organization screen or something, a feature I've never seen anyone request before. If this was something you wanted, why was your last post back last Spring? You had months to post your own requests. You chose not to and now you're flaming the game as unfinished because it lacks features you personally wanted but never requested? <
This has been a great year for PC games. Not such a great year or two for strategy games. Crusader Kings II was pretty good. I didn't get a chance to really play Sins Reb so I don't know how good that game is. If they have a strategy game of the year, I think this will be on the short list.
I don't agree with Xan regarding that they should have released it last month. This is the only >strategy I do agree they >could In conclusion, it was release-worth

Sometimes my units wont be where I remember them being, sometimes the AI/Monsters will be in the wrong place. It's tough to make a bug report out of it, because I can't say that I really accurately remember what it was supposed to be. I just can tell that something is wrong. Tuidjy seems a pretty thorough fellow, so if he's sayin
You reply to me as though I said anything negative about X-COM. I just spent all morning playing it. I'm one of the old guys who played the original and like the new one better. I'm saying that there are a lot of complaints on the website about the camera issue and how much of a pain it is to play with. There are all of these unnecessary cut scenes, etc... which they spent alot of time coding, but they couldn't get the camera controls
What is nice about the prediction thread is that we will get to remember who predicted what.
I just bought the new x-com game and the camera problems with moving between levels is so annoying to make the game near unplayable. Firaxis is getting alot of heat for this and I don't want the same to happen to stardock. While FE doesn't have anything like this, I just don't want it to look half-assed when released as It's going to be judged against WOM and so will be scrutinized more harshly.
This the same XCOM that just
Well as is with latest update I would not score it as high as CIV V. The game is better than it every was but still has some issue (weak AI, no sea units, primitive TC) I'm not currently noting bugs at this point. so I'll give it a 70 at this point. With current bugs I'd give a a 68. Now this is just the Vanilla game. I'm afraid that it aint going to get much better than this before launch. However with
It looks like Fallen Enchantress is ready for release. I don't know what differences there are between 0.99 and 1.0 yet but it's probably safe to pass judgment. So..... What do you think the Metacritic average of Fallen Enchantress will be by December 1, 2012? Put in your guesses. Here are some recent game releases to compare to..... Dishonored 91 XCOM 89 Borderlands 2 89 Torchlight II 89 Transformers: Fall of Cyberton 79
I wonder if the forum software supports tables. If it does I can't tell. Since we are talking about eras I'm gonna define my eras like this --> Era 1: Golden Age of PC games + Wing Commander + Master of Orion + Civilization + Star Control 2 + Master of Magic + DOOM + Ultima VI vs. Fallen Enchantress. It's a great game but it doesn't measure up to those classics. </
