#1 again, that's 2 in a row! Thank you & Derek for listening to our pleas (from E:WOM) about making Magic a dynamic force in the world. I like everything I've read about the game so far, but the Magic aspect of the game is why we all got so hyped up way back when.

Yea, #1 reply. Congratulations to the whole Stardock team for making this day happen. As I'm sure you can tell from the posting activity the last couple of days, we're all excited to be part of the Beta.

You sir are a gentleman. That post expresses your disappoinment in an articulate and sincere manner without all the arm waving and name calling we so often see on these forums. [e digicons]k1[/e]
Did you guys go to your new account on the Stardock store https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products and check the status of E:Wom on the My Account/Order History tab.
(1) FE has over 3 different types of loot: Sausage, Gold, or Sausage (2) FE supports both 640x480 resolution with 16 colors OR 320x200 with 256 colors (3) FE copy protection is that the player is always connected to our server playing ala remote desktop. So there is no code on your machine. (4) Relate to #3, max FPS is 10 frames per second. (5) Music is handled through an optional Ad Lib sound card.
Got my email & it has a link to my Stardock account & says Beta will be available appx 3pm tomorrow. Brad did mention a serial number above, but I assume that will be available on my account page tomorrow when the FE Beta is posted, since there are links to serial numbers below all my other games currently on my list.
Just got the beta downloaded and I have say, despite all the colorful screenshots on the site, black and white was an interesting choice for the beta. I guess we will really have to focus on gameplay with no color. But I just don't get why you replaced all the Sovs with my little ponies. I think maybe the pressure is getting to you guys. As much as I love Lord Xia and his many posts (some humorous, some insightful, & some just more than a little contentious), I can't wait to see him squirm for a week as those of us in the first round start posting about stuff he can't comment on. Not that that will stop him. Should make for good entertainment.
Ah, beta pain. May we have another please!
Is the beta released? I can't see it on the new Stardock download page. Do we have to change a setting somewhere to see it like in the old system?
I'm absolutely chomping at the bit to play this game!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been playing EWOM 1.4 for a couple of months now--wow--what an improvement. While not completely bug-free (especially late in the game), it is *fun*. As for FE, I noticed that it is supposed to be "activated" on user accounts on the 20th. Is this still the schedule? I pre-purchased EWOM, so I assume I'll be able to play
Pretty sure it is. Almost has to be if they're going to use it to deliver FE this week. I know if you login at the new site, it'll show you all your Stardock game/program purchases (only Stardock games right now). You can even redownload a couple of them. I'm pretty sure Brad has said that eventually we'll have access to everything we bought from Stardock (i.e. registered with them before Impulse sold) without going thru GameStop.</
As far as I know, it will be available on the new Stardock Central (which certainly must be released soon) or possibly available from the Elemental web-site when logged in in a valid account. It will *not* use Impulse or be associated with Gamestop in any way, although the complete game for those who don't get it free will probably be available on various digital distribution platforms, including Impulse or whatever Gamestop calls it th
It should be doable. I know in WOM it was an issue because a lot of this stuff was in a single thread. But in FE, a lot of these calculations are done in the background so we've been able to indulge ourselves. I am pretty sure that in FE, the path is now stored as a linked list rather than brute forced during the move like in WOM.
