I believe that the group leader is either the one with the most experience (aka highest level) or the highest combat rating. I didn't know that you can't use teleport if your not the group leader. Why is it you can't teleport?

Yeah, finding a female companion (especially one who is interesting and attractive) can be somewhat difficult. Could use some balancing. Also, AI sovereigns START OUT MARRIED which is unfair and unbalanced.

Agreed with all. Combat could certainly use some reworking and there has been ample feedback on how this can be done. If you want improved late game Abilities and Traits then I encourage you to try my " Abilities and Histories Mod " in the modding section. It gives some small 5-10% bonuses to things like merchants stationed in cities which can act like a small school. To quote an Alabama politician "It just makes sense".

Check the city summary and you'll see the bonuses calculated. They are actually pretty significant because they are cumulative. So you might have a 10% bonus to arcane, 20% income bonus, and then 30% research at a level 4 city. However, remember that 10% of 1 is 0.1, so don't expect HUGE returns if you have low output.

I don't believe that you can re-marry after their death... kinda a poor implementation and suggestion on the devs there, lol.

Yes, you MUST start a new and fresh game, you CANNOT load a savegame. This is one of the most reported modding "problems" I've seen, there should probably be a stick about it somewhere. Anyways, let us know how it works. I'd love to try it!

haha, I've only seen that a couple times. Usually those guys have wolves or something weak defending them. My "guardian" units usually suck too. I'd advise you to make the player bonus guardian units ... human and somewhat more decent, please.
