that would only be possible in look if you didn't have a tile setup. however you can mod the game to have bigger tactical maps, and mod the game to have larger tactical units. you could prob mod the game to have 100 unit stacks if you wanted, of course it would prob look ridiculous in a small tactical square.

hmm, this is an interesting idea .
yeah, it would add alot to the game if the champions had some sort of alignment that guided them. example: give the faction a faction alignment. make certain decisions change that alignment. lets say that you become(on a scale of -10 to +10) +10 which is really good. you might attract "joe the mighty paladin" because he is so good. he has alot o
i would bet that the AI will be outstanding before this year is up, and i would also bet it will have a huge improvement before this month is up.
i personally wouldn't call it "stealing" but i do think its an unacceptable practice that only has one path. and thats no more games. i like games, so you gotta support the hobby.
yeah i read that you can change the size of the tactical maps.
i love battletech and i absolutely hope that its possible. i would definitely play it.
yeah i like the elemental art style as well. its prob not my first choice, but its certainly enjoyable.
i was very much against it at first, but after thinking of the possibilities then i changed my opinion. when brad said that they were going to hook up the spells to the global resources system, my first though was for spell components. which would be really neat for powerful spells. like certain summons or world spells you may need X amount of resources(iron, material, crystal etc.) as well. and since the modding community can do this al
yeah this is interesting. i look forward to seeing its progress.
i guess i will agree that maybe it is to simple as is. i would like more trade offs, i just don't want to add to much micromanagement.
thats interesting because i almost always have way to many resources and gold by the middle game. i can never use it all.
No tactical battles? I know a lot of gaming people. I don't know one that would purchase a game of this type, build cities, research techs, customize their armies and spells, only to get a pop-up box on the battles outcome. Not one. That includes me. I'm sorry, I've totally given up on this game and SD. I'm just glad I did not drag all my other friends into this. If MP people show "interest", THE
still seems like alot of micro to say: i can build my spy units in city A and B i can build my regular military best in city B and D i can build my strong defense units in city A,B, C i can build my heavy hitters in city D and F i
at first i was very hesitant with a global mana pool, but after reading more about it and seeing the possibilities, well i am 100 percent for it! so much potential here. since brad intends this to be just mana for stock elemental, maybe i will try my hand at modding a sort of spell component mod or something.
no, it was the right choice to take out the prereq for building units. the way the game is set up sure if you had a unit with a bow then you would need an archery range. ok thats alright. what about then if you had a unit that you had created that used 3 or 4 pieces of equipment from special buildings. lets say you had 3 cities that had the ability to make these units, other cites had some of the buildings but not all. AND on top o
yes, that would be such a game changer, but an amazing one! in most of my games i always have alot of left over resources it seems, this would be a way to use those. example: spell: create steel golem spell components: 50 iron ore, 1 earth shard, 1 fire shard if t
Regarding spells: In v1.1 spells are going to support using global resources and mana will become a global resource.
wait you mean that its possible to need spell components? for example, to cast arcane armor it may need say 3 iron? because that would be badass and unique. a great way to curb very high level spells!
1) Choice - Like you said every choice should be meaningful and difficult to make, in that they are balanced. I always find it annoying arguing with people who say something has plenty of "options" when there are say 4 choices but 1 is noticeably better then the others. It's like sure a player can purposefully gimp themselves by choosing to but that doesn't really mean there are a lot of "options" for a player looking to play at top level.<br /
i say lets see what 1.08 brings to the table. i mean, they are going to implement it in 1.08 so it's gotta be pretty much done. no harm in getting it out.
hey good idea! i hope they implement this as well.
Quoting sagittary, reply 5 Quoting Fightingweasles, reply 4Will the turns be simultantious or my turn everyone elses turn in order? Considering the reliance in the single player of seeing an enemy unit and moving at it to start a fight, if they are moving away at the same time this obviously can't work the same. But then waiting on up to 16 people to take a turn would be far more arduous? I hope that it's simult
