Thanks. It never occurred to me it had to be anyone specific who needed to do this quest. I've completed many other quests with generic units. I gave the egg to my sovereign and had her go to the dungeon. I gave the dragon egg back to the dragon and she said she'd join me. No dragon. :( I guess i needed to do the whole thing with a member of my royal family? Booo! I wanted a dragon.
I was also unable to finish this quest. As mentioned above I also had a non-responsive goodie hut. I have the egg. I can't turn it in.
I like to play a huge map with LOTS of armies--but that is giving me a problem. I usually have a dozen armies or so out exploring and I can't always tell which army does what when several enter notable places in the same turn. I just get a message that says you find blah blah several times without any indication of which army it was. I also have about 15 guys named Vaenia in my armies and another 8 or so named Viy. About 2/3 of the several guys named Dosid have baby pictures for icons. The duplicate hero names can be confusing when several are in the same army or if 2 or more of the same name are unit leaders. Any way we can rename these? The baby pictures are humerous, but don't seem to actually hurt anything. The Dosids fight as well as anyone else.
My game crashes frequently, and I am having a terrible time without an in-game tutorial, as others have also reported. I've been an avid MoM player for years, but NOTHING is intuitive to me in this game so far. The game crashes every time I try to ALT-TAB out. Sometimes the game won't even start. It shows the Elemental splash page, but no menu and it just sits there forever. I played for a while yesterday, but the stuck splash page is all I get today. Yes, I have done today's update.
