I think this argument is nearly as old as the PC vs. Mac argument. It's simple...if you don't like or won't use it, don't buy it. If the community is something you have no desire to support, don't buy it. But, if you value the community, if you like the software, if you use the software, support the community and software with a $15 to $20 purchase. Frankly, for me...it's a choice of support for something I value. No one is gouging anyone and there is a free version available.

Forgive me...I'm not going to get wrapped up in this. You all are entitled to your opinion and you are all allowed to post it here assuming an Admin doesn't say differantly. I, however, will not post in this thread again. Or the one about the Moore film. Enjoy yourselves. I'm usually real good about thinking before I post...but I got ahaed of myself. [Message Edited]

Styl, Starfish... I'll bet it just really ticks you off that you can't come over here and fix things for us poor dumb americans. I'll bet it really makes you mad that you can't do the one thing us americans can do in regards to Bush...vote. It's amazing how easy it is to criticize something you truly know so little about. From another country no less. America bashers...that's what makes me so mad. Do you really think you know so much more than the rest of us. What is y

I can't say that Moore is un-American, he feelsthere are important things that needs to be discussedand he uses his creativity to reach out to other people. Please...no disrespect intended, but you can't say whether he is or is not an American because you are not an American. You have no reference point. Any more that I can say what it means to b

I think everyone should see this. Because on every story there are 2 sides. Mostly we have seen only one side of this story. Have we only really seen the "one side?" I don't think so. I don't remeber any network talking about how great Bush is, or for that matter, what good things are coming out of the war. No, it's typically the opposite. <

Paxx..you are correct about the "French" thing...but I have to disagree with you about your long term assesment of the middle east. It is true...the problems are just begining. But to say that Democracy is "impossible" in that region is simply not true. If they give up hope, if they decide to not take control themselves, if the general public lies down and takes it...then I would agree. But I have a greater respect for humanity and it's abilities to deal with oppression. How many count

I must agree with Anthony on his deductions regarding Iraq. I think it is important to add that as we sit in our little cubicles typing on our personal pc's, it is nearly impossible to get a grip on the bigger picture. We, as simple citizens, could not possibly have enough information at our disposal to make any grand decisions about what is "correct" for the world, or for that matter, the US. Which brings me to my next point, look at our sources of information...Hype, total Hype. The t

Another way would be to only allow ratings from those who have created a few skins. At least then the rating would be backed up by hands on skin development. A rating from someone who only bases it on how it looks is not as valid as one based on knowledge of skinstudio, graphics, and how to combine them. I don't typically rate skins because of th

"If you don''t know - I''m not telling you" That statement right there is the very reason men cannot understand woman. It's because we can't read their minds. They completely expect us too and have no comprehension why we cannot. I have told my wife this fact and she responds with a "I don't know why not" and truthfully means it. Personally, I t

This is why you should never help people with their computers Truer words hath never been spoken. It is so aggrevating when people take thier PC's too seriously. The only problem I have ever had with Reagan was his terrible decision (and it was a decision) to completely ignore something so terrible as HIV. In the long run, responding to it more quickly would not seem to have changed things much. It seems almost ironic that a man who is dubbed "The Great Communicator" actually communicated so little about something so overwhelming as HIV.

Great community, Great skins, great insight...and best of all GUI Olympics. It bothers me a great deal when I see people bashing each other, the admins, the judges etc. with such a great thing as GUIO. A lot of hard work goes into it from so many different angles. From the site being setup, the judges being picked, prizes being collected...and let's not forget the huge amounts of work that go int
