I'd like to recommend that you update the OP with the stats rather than posting them in the topic - provides quick reference. It's a good survey, and is general enough to provide an at-a-glance report.
Good idea. When I get a chance later today I will do so. Thanks, Sammual P.S. 67 people have taken the survey.
I shouldn't have answered to the survey : I said the game didn't crash .. and after taking the survey ... it crashed 4 times in a row, then now I can't finish a game. I always have a crashing bug
My first CTD happened right after I took the survey as well but I can still play. Sammual
I loved the intro, my wife didn't get it at all and that just made it even more amusing. Sammual
Not a bug, it's a feature. Wait for the flight spell, *grin* Sammual

" For crash reports in particular , the most helpful file you can provide is a memory dump that the game will generate when a crash occurs. If you're running Windows XP, there will be a zip file with the memory dump located in Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Stardock\Elemental - War of Magic . If you're running Windows Vista or 7, the zip file will be located at ProgramData\Stardock\Elemental - War of Magic instead." I
I agree, we need to keep posting detailed bug reports and submitting crashes into the bug tracking system http://fogbugz.stardock.com/default.asp?pg=pgPublicEdit . If I get any sort of feedback from Stardock or I get a beter picture of what they want I will be more then happy to create a more detailed survey. The reason I did not ask for details in the survey is that I did not want to encourage pe
Its really too early. I like a lot of the concepts and potential, but it's not really *likeable* as a playable game at this point. Which is precisely the way they said it would be. They were up front about this.
Exactly. There is nothing likeable about the Beta (Other then the 8 bit intro joke). What we all love are the concepts and potential. Sammual
But this form doesn't give much actual info. They don't only need to know if it crashes, but when, how, and what your computer's specs are.
Yep, it is very basic and lacking in deatails. I just used the questions Kryo stated that Stardock was looking for in https://forums.elementalgame.com/364444. They want details posted on the forums here. I am just attempting to give them a high
Yep, it is a bit general. I just used the questions Kryo stated that Stardock was looking for in https://forums.elementalgame.com/364444. They want details posted on the forums here. I am just attempting to give them a high level overview that they can't get on the forums. Sammual P.S. 11 responses so far.
All, I have created a survey you can use quickly and easily to give your responses to Stardock in a format where they can get a better overview then the forums here. http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=n6YNuLXwSxV_2bvKEyy0Du8g_3d_3d -------------------------------

Same issue here on a desktop. Click drag or edge of screen scroll to stop it. Sammual
I have also noticed this but I can't seem to always repeat it. Sammual
I noticed that as well. Sammual
Scouts ignore goody huts as well. Sammual
If there are no unexplored spaces accessable without going through another kingdom's area and you turn on the Scout's Autoexplore the scout will attempt to enter the other kingdom's area and a popup box asks if you want to enter it and start a war. If you choose no it will ask again. I attempted to say No 100 times (You can't do anything buy choose yes or no) before I had to say yes to continue. A third option 'No and Turn off Auto Explore' would be great! S
I am all for this idea. Most AIs don't change plans much when thier situation changes. I would love to see and AI system where the smaller AI empires stick together a bit more to help protect each other from the big guys. I like the idea that when it looks hopeless the AI will resort to insane strategys to try and stay alive, all or nothing attacks on your capitol / channeler, giving up half thier remaining empire to a different major power in exchange for an alliance (The

I am a big fan of simultaneous turns when they are done right. Standard Turn based only works well in single player games and PBEM. Sammual
