From MoM I recall To Hit and To Defend stats that had very interesting effects, as well as the Resistance stat. There's also cool things like "First Strike", "Breath Weapon", "Armor Piercing", "Illusion Attack". How do you feel about that sort of thing?
As I've stated before I consider MoM to be the gold standard for Tact

For me MoM is the gold standard, I would start there. MoM had some balance issues and did not have a small enough granularity (Mostly in To Hit). What I would like to see is all the MoM attributes with better granularity, and statistic modifications for height and terrain, and Damage Types. Height I would like to see units defending highe
The beta program ensures only those who are seriously interested in this type of game in the first place are involved. Over the next few weeks, we'll be debating and discussing a great deal different ways of handling the economics and based on that feedback be making changes. Now, some might argue that the self-selection process of the beta tends to bias it away from the "mainstream" of gamers but my personal feeli

This idea envisions resources as a way to shape and diversify factions according to the resources they have in abundance. This would promote diversity and keep games original and fresh by causing factions to specialize based on their geographical
Sovereign Handling People do not want luck to decide the fate of their sovereign in a battle. Many people don’t like the idea of ones sovereign dying meaning the end of the game. The sovereign being a unit in the game is key to the game mechanics that will become more apparent later. But we have been convinced by the feedback that there shouldn’t be an “evade” ability. Instead, we’re now leaning towards if your sovere
You wouldn't know as a nation, that once you research x resource that you would want x amount and that it would be in location y. So, it's only after you research steel, that you discover you need to expand north to find deposits for it. This forces expansionism, and is good for the game anyways (plus trade would be a bigger focus this way).
I disagree. You finish researching Bronze. You find this rock that we

A land of plains with wild horses should become a land of powerful horsemen; their horses should be sought aft
Option C: If the missing resource is weapons/armor then the player is informed they must substitute the weapon/armor, if it’s equipment then the item is not included on the unit. This simplifies things somewhat and encourages us to try to make as much of the “bonus” stuff fall into equipment. In the case where the twilight bee apiary is taken by another player, the unit is still built minus the twilight honey pack. The player would be able to see

Interesting things found in the results from this survey; 1) Only 5 users who can play the game do not report "Edge-scrolling issues" and over 50% of the users who report them have them all the time. 2) Of the users who can play the game AND have it not hang after an ALT-TAB, 70% report the "Map does not render after alt-tab" every time. 3) The majority of users who can play the game have some sort of Save / Load issues. 4) Almost all us
