Haven't D/L'd it yet, but should you need to use the old Config UI for something, how do you get to it after installing the new WB version?
Both the old and new configs will be in yoru start menu. The new config is labelled "WindowBlinds (BETA2)"
Wow that brings me back in time. I read that book (several times of course) in elementary school back in the 80s.
I just reserved a bunch for one of my daughters at the local library. We'll see what she thinks. They are available for sale too: http://www.cyoa.com/public/index.html
For real game tie in we need something like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Choose_Your_Own_Adventure [e digicons][/e]
/me looks at the topic and the content of the last few posts and tries to make a connection . . . . [e digicons]:\[/e]
Updated.
Yay!
Ack...I was hoping that 'feature' of GC2 had been forgotten.
Some of us never forget anything. [e digicons]}:)[/e]
Nice work! Very cool!
Anyways, so any ideas as to what we might be able to customize about the units? How about other stuff?
Unfortunatly those questions are well outside my scope. I'll have to wait and see the same as you will.
Why is karma count the only thing that isn't global?
So you can be a jerk here and a hero there and have karma accordingly.
Honeycrisp apples are teh gold standard. I can not enjoy any other apples now. :( Oranges are better than candy. I dig them too.
Short version: I personally think the system might be improved if the karma was on a global basis. As the forums are all essentially one and all threads do actually exist on all sites (that I am aware of), this should not be terribly difficult, except for perhaps setting a [forumname] parameter before the [post number] in the link, which, no offense, but I can do that with my eyes shut.
I like that I can be a no-karma jerk on one site and a mega-karma hero on another. ;)</
I use google and search for "[something] site:forums.elementalgame.com" /me needs a ubiquity command for that.
They were designed by two regular Wincustomize forum members. DigitalChet and Bebibulma . Nice folks too.
Shouldn't there be a #elemental there as well if we're supposed to be able to use the Impulse IRC client to access the chat room?
It will be added. For now you can type '/join #elemental' in any IRC window and get there.
Circuit city was huge and while a bit overpriced they had people tha tknoew thier stuff. As things got tighter CC fired their best resource, those experts, and hired the equivalent of seasonal help. Fail.
A game that you can't lose becomes boring instantly.
Only if the goal remains the same. New rules can mean a whole new game. Check out this post about modding: Mods and the joy/sorrow they bring.
Doh! First link is Impulse adn second is totalgaming. Not super intuitive but good enough.
Where is the action? Below? Focus on below. No need for day or night or stars and what-not.
otherwise the thread/forum software they use is excellent.
All hand rolled, thank you very much! :)
New totalgaming.net games will only be listed in http://tgnforums.stardock.com/328145. Elemental will never be listed at that store page, and is already listed and buyable from the forum post I mentioned.
Thanks for correcting me if I was wrong . . but I don't see a place in that store to enter tokens.
Welcome aboard!
screenshots look like crap
To each his own. I really dig the style
suggest forming a #ewom channel on your IRC ASAP.
/join #elemental @ irc.stardock.com :)
Death Magic. I don't see it listed as a "spell school". It won't be available in the game?
Death magic is just evil Life Magic.
