Actually, I think I found what the problem was. I have two monitors which used to be primary on left and secondary on right. I have PersonalBrain running full screen on the secondary display and do all my real work on the primary. The other day I had a bit of a swap round and now my primary monitor is on the right with the seconary on the left. It turned out that the "missing" files were being created on the secondary display, hidden under my full-screen application.

This same thing happens to me too. Whenever I download something from the net I store it on the desktop. I used to then drag it to a "Temp" fence before using it but now for some reason it's not visible on my desktop and I have to go look for it in Explorer instead which is pretty annoying! ;) I'm trying an uninstall/re-install but if that doesn't fix it I'm afraid I'm going to have to uninstall because not having a working desktop is a bit of a deal-breaker. Not sure how many people are using KeepSafe. I'm using it because it's simply fantastic, and lies at the heart of my automatic revision management and file backup system. Or it should do... There's only one problem. It doesn't seem to be moving file revisions to the off-site location which effectively kills my backup strategy dead in its tracks. I created an official support ticket almost two weeks ago but haven't received any kind of response as yet. How lon

Fences could be the next big killer "app" for me since BandVWM. It's almost exactly what I've been looking for to help me with my desktop clutter and I've experienced absolutely no problems with it in operation whatsoever. The only enhancement request I could possibly make would be to implement a function to delete all the icons within a given fence but I could more than live without such a function. Thanks!

I noticed something like this last night. I pre-ordered but made a typo in my address and the order was rejected. There was no easy way back from the rejection page so I went through the pre-order process again from the beginning but of course it remembered the contents of my cart from the previous attempt. Net result, two copies. Luckily I noticed in time and removed one of the copies. It wasn't a bug, just one of those things. My key hasn't arrived yet... :(

As asked above, can we find out what the ongoing cost will be for the two versions of OD 2008? If you can't give actual figures can you illustrate them relative to the current cost of OD 2007? It's tempting to assume, based on the evidence at hand, that the ultimate edition will slot in at the price point of the current version and a new, lower cost, standard edition will be launched. Is that the case? Thanks.

The problem was introduced with a Virtual Desktops patch, not WB so I wouldn't want to post a potentially confusing bug report on the WB feedback thread. Also, if these are not official support forums then they absolutely should not be here at all. Is there a "legitimate" support forum we should use instead? Thanks! Nick

Attempting to force the look and feel of your own operating system onto your products running on a *different* operating system is an extremely poor design decision in my book. It just illustrates that you have a fundamental inability to separate form from function.

I had a quick look around for an existing thread about this but I didn't see one, so sorry if this is a repeat. The new option in OD+ to hide the dock when you're running a maximised app is pretty cool. It works fine if you maximise and un-maximise the app, but it doesn't work if you close or minimise a maximised app. Steps to reproduce: 1) Maximise the app -> dock disappears 2) Un-maximise the app -> dock re-appears 3) Maximise the app again -&g

What will be the renewal prices for the two levels of OD going forward? I've got a sneaking suspicion that we will be upgraded to Ultimate for free, but 12 months later we'll find that the usual upgrade price many of us have been paying since forever will relate to the regular package and there will be a new, higher price for the ultimate edition. I know that sounds pretty negative but when I first subscribed to OD the scope of the product was described thus - "By joining, you get ever

There is an SDK if someone else wants to do this. Is there documentation on sdvdesktops.dll? I'm guessing that this also used by ObjectBar for it's VWM support so I'm hoping it's possible to wrap this into a Docklet using the SDK.

Stardock Central. Make sure you have the "prompt me when there's new stuff" option set, because the prompt often finds new software where the listing still shows the old stuff (in my experience).

Ah well, no virtual desktop docklet. Can someone from Stardock please just put me out of my misery and tell me whether there are plans to support this or not? If you provide a tool to replace the taskbar then you should implement all the taskbar's features - especially your *own* features (BandVWM). You've done so for ObjectBar, so why not ObjectDock? Otherwise, OD+ is a solid product and I very much

I think I may not be explaining properly, sorry. I *love* BandVWM. That one product has convinced me to subscribe for, what, eight years or more now? I want to use OD+ but I don't want to run it at the same time as the Windows taskbar, but if I turn off my taskbar then sadly I also turn off my BandVWM... What I would like is a VWM docklet for OD+. E.g. take the band, split it into separate desktop
