As a Canadian, allow me to offer my most sincere and profuse apologies for my country inflicting Bieber on the world. Canada may have committed a crime against humanity for that one. Having said that, you lost the hockey game, so you still have to keep him.

Hmm, the original Godfather novel on which the movie was based? :) Though there really aren't any "good" characters, it's just bad people doing bad things to other bad people!
On the internet, everyone is an expert on everything!
And you're dreaming about linux becoming the "dominant" platform. That's a joke.
You're correct, it was a joke.
I just find it amusing that Linux may become the dominant gaming OS as a result. [e digicons][/e] I maybe buy one at some point.
It's clear why they did this when you see a picture of the scientist responsible:
Yeah, from all accounts he was a decent guy who did a lot for charity. He died while taking a 5 minute break from his charity event in support of victims of Typhoon Haiyan. So yeah, let's all rag on him for not being Daniel Day-Lewis... [e digicons][/e] I'd rather people be judged on how they treat their fellow humans than how good they are at their job. By that measure, it sounds like he comes out being a better person than most of us.
Not always, I'm 41 years old and still have a baby tooth! :)
Skeet surfin'!
Ugh, phones are already too big. Here's my current phone (3.3" screen!). I will shovel large sums of cash at any manufacturer who offers an updated version of it. Edit: that's just a stock photo, I don't listen to Pet Shop Boys...
Children, when learning to write, often write letters (and sometimes even words) backwards. It just seems to be a natural part of our nervous system learning the movements for the first time. I guess an adult writing with their non-dominant hand experiences the same thing. I'm a lefty though, and writing with my right hand is so hopeless I can't even form letters, backwards or not. :D
I'm not afraid of them. But they do make me sad.
Strange, usually internet debates about things like global warming remain civilized and conclude productively with one side convincing the other of their stance. I'm baffled as to why that isn't happening this time... [e digicons]:|[/e]

That's an impressive price point. And not in a good way.
Yeah, as always, it's a subjective thing. Plenty of people don't like big cities, so the claim that even a place like Melbourne is more livable than, say, a smaller town with a lower cost of living, less impersonality (is that a word?), and a more immediate natural setting is a little laughable to them. Personally, though, I like cities... anyone want to hire me in Melbourne? :)
I'll happily support these guys.
How can designers think such an an ugly UI in (nearly) 2014 is good enough?
I'd be willing to bet that it sells well enough to make the team of two people behind it quite happy. So I'd say the designers were correct in thinking that the UI is good enough.
As a Canuck I love Vancouver, but I'll take Melbourne/Adelaide/Sydney/Perth over it any day. :)
Want!

I have, and most of them despise their jobs. They're doing it because they

Yeah, the manual will only tell you how to do it, not why to do it. The book will tell you why. Good luck! :)
Awesome, congrats! A couple comments: 30 times zoom is fantastic, and more than you'd ever get on an SLR unless you spend $1500+ on the lens alone. Don't worry about not having RAW. I've talked to semi-professional photographers, and even they don't shoot in RAW. I'm sure there are some situations where pros use it, but it's nothing you'll ever miss. If you're interested in learning how to shoot nice
