I think you need to read the question more closely... ;)
Yahoo still exists?
Pretty mindblowing 50 minute demo with the developers:
Mine included a cable.
Just bought one of these, no complaints so far! http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1032074-REG/wd_wdbu6y0020bbk_nesn_2tb_elements_portable_hd.html
And those robot voices are unpleasant!
Yeah, they also changed combat from "turn-based tactical" to "real-time hands-off watch too blips shoot at each other for 3 seconds." They should've spent less time making cutscenes and more time thinking about gameplay mechanics. From what I saw in an earlier video, the "key members from the original team" are actually the members of the art team (seriously). Nothing against them, the reboot *looks* beautiful, but the gameplay seems to have nothing to do with MoO or M
Yeah, that killed my interest in this. I don't see how this is a MoO reboot, other than copying the races. I don't understand why devs are obsessed with turning everything into a boardgame clone these days.
Interesting. That means 5% gamers using Linux type OS. Big numbers for an OS where "big" games are nearly non existant. And DX11 does not work yet on Linux (will work with some emulation-type software later this fall, apparently). Maybe in the not so distant future, it would be worth it for game developpers to support Linux.
The stats are for GalCiv3 players, and GalCiv3 isn't available on Linux or OSX.
I'll be clinging to Windows 7 as long as it's viable. Once it no longer is, I'll be going full Linux and OSX. Any software that isn't available on either of those two platforms I'll then be dropping. Even now, the only reason I boot into Windows is for Lightroom/Photoshop and a handful of games. The former are already available on OSX, and more of the latter are becoming available on Linux and/or OSX every day. I'm a strategy gamer, and
Nice pics! If you want a great night sky pic: Find a location without light pollution Pick a night with no clouds and no moon Mount the camera somewhere steady Slap that beautiful 55mm lens on Aperture: f/1.8 Shutter Speed: 10-15 seconds ISO: 3200 2-5 second delay so any wiggle from you pushing the button dies out before the pic starts (or buy a remote release cable) <img src="https://dl
I'm not familiar at all with the game, but I'm afraid if your complaint is that the vendor described the product in vague flowery words such as "a great choice" and "the perfect ship to master the fundamentals" then you're out of luck. Those are purely subjective terms and a matter of opinion, not quantifiable promises. I can advertise a new snack food I've developed as "The most delicious food ever conceived of by man!" and it can taste like vomit smeared on a d
Clearly the mere invocation of Derek Smart's name causes the discourse to descend into chaos. Derek Smart, Dark Lord of the Flame(war).
How much money do I have to pledge for my space pilot to have access to some virtual anti-wrinkle cream to smooth those wrinkles away? Or is that one of the stretch (mark) goals? Har har har...
Derek Smart is the Donald Trump of the gaming world - an attention whore who will say whatever he needs to say to get people talking about him, who loves to fight with people just for the sake of fighting, and whose own mediocre products seem largely incidental to his ultimate legacy.
When you say real time, does it allow 'pausing' so you can post orders?
Yeah, it's real time in the Paradox sense, which means sloooooooow and pausable. I wouldn't let the real-time thing discourage you, I loath real-time games but love Paradox games. There's zero time pressure whatsoever, you can muck along at your own pace (as I do), and pause for as long as you want while you explore
This RPS overview blew my mind: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2015/08/06/stellaris-paradox-strategy-game/
Additional tidbits: Lead designer is Henrik Fahraeus, lead designer of CK2 and HoI4 In the same mould as EU4 - real-time, multiplayer Discovery and exploration are a huge part Early part of the game is like questing heroes in an RPG as you explore the universe around you No technology tree, you discover technologies to research Becomes more like EU4 and CK2 once you have an established empire and start to meet other races in the

They'll be announcing it later today, but some info leaked early. EU4 and/or CK2 and/or Vicky2 in space? Where do I type in my credit card number?! I have dreamed of this for a long time - a non-historical strategy game that (hopefully) brings all the beautiful subtleties and complexities of war goals, treaties, politics, etc. that Paradox does so well. There are scree
The 55mm is razor sharp. I've heard professional photographers claim it's one of the sharpest lenses they've ever used. Amusingly, it was the first lens I ever owned for an interchangeable lens camera, so I didn't really appreciate it until I started trying other lenses. [e digicons][/e] The 24-240mm is very versatile, of course, but you pay for it in terms of both poorer image quality and substantial bulk. For travel, though, it has no e
Yeah, Lightroom is magic. $10/month will get you Photoshop and Lightroom: https://creative.adobe.com/plans
Congrats man, the a7 family is a fantastic series of cameras. I bought the a7 when it first came out, then upgraded to the a7II when that showed up. Started with the 55mm, then added the 24-240mm and 28mm. Got a ton of great pictures in both Japan and Namibia!
Brilliant lyrics, brilliant group.
