Assuming that you have WindowBlinds installed, after you download the ".suite" file, you can rename the extension to ".zip", e.g., "themename.zip". Open the file and then you will see the WB skin's ".wba" file. Extract/copy that file to another location and then you can add it via the WindowBlinds configuration window. Or you can simply double-click on the ".wba" file and it will be automatically installed for you.

I've got an annoying problem with IconX. Sporadically, the Desktop icons revert to the default size, 32 pxs and get grouped to the upper left corner of the screen. Yes that is perfectly normal. Remember it is System IDLE process.
To be honest...... I've never had "stability" issues with any version/build of WB. I have had various "anomalies" which most always were corrected in newer builds. Any other problems I have encountered have always been with my system, settings, tweaks, etc.; not WB itself.

Again, for me it's just an annoyance and not something that would curtail my use of IconX. But that feature is something I use often, e.g., comparing file sizes quickly by using the mouseover tooltips. There shouldn't be an option in IconX to enable them since they are enabled by default as part of XP.

Neil, Strange..... when I checked which version I had installed via Stardock Central in Vista, it said Build 5.49a[b].020. SD then updated itself, restarted and it showed version Build 5.49a[b].021 was available. Obviously, I updated and now everything is working fine in Vista RC2 for me. BTW..... where has the option to apply/not apply skin-included wallpapers gone to?

I'm wondering if whatever it is that you have running in your System Tray <---------- (weather, etc.) is causing the problem? Have you tried shutting that addon down to see if the "jaggies" disappear?
If you open the WindowBlinds configuration window and click on "[View my] System Information", it will tell you if your current video can support the "per pixel" feature or not.
"Disabling" them may not be enough. I've read where some have had to totally remove the addons and then reinstall them to correct their own anomalies. Yep, it's a pain to do this, but not overly so if it does in fact fix your issues.

There is no guarantee, of course, that WB 5.5 beta or any later release would run perfectly on your present version of Vista. You can try deleting the folders for those skins ONLY which aren't being displayed in the WindowBlinds configuration window via Windows Explorer. Then try and "Add" them once again using the WB config window. You may have to click on the "Rebuild List" after each is installed.

Thanks..... so what you are saying is that the preferred method is to change the Metrics height (aka: caption height) to match the Titlebar height, correct? What has been puzzling to me all this time is that I have not seen any noticeable difference after making a change either way.
