Same problem for some time now. Still working on it. Do you use styler? Styler is a great program but it interferes with WB. I have removed it from my startup and cured a number of problems. One is the changing of my desktop colors and the other is the black boxes. I know for sure it helped the desktop but I cannot recreate the black boxes to see if it caused by Styler. If not Styler, I would look for some program installed that changes any original windows style or files.(Brisco Packs are

There seems to be a lot of misunderstanding lately. Hate will get us nowhere. Some of these post should clear things up some. Others will just cause more hate. It is my opinion that ALL artist should be praised. It is up to them whether it be for words of praise or money. I'm happy to see WinCustomize giving them the choice.

Don't know what OS you are on, but it sounds like you are doing it right. You can try another method by changing wallpaper to "none" in DX properties then going to your wallpaper and right-click " set as desktop background I have never had a problem with DX but I sometimes I do this so when my computer starts I will have the same wallpaper till DX can load. Wow! Don't remember posting #20? Anyways, bought me a big computer (To me). 4400+AMD Dual core 2.20GHz-1.87 Gb Ram- Every thing is OK now. Aaaand everything works OK on the old one to. ??? Anybody want to buy a computer?
