OK- Tried everything that everybody suggested with no luck. Something was screwing with the driver installs. Kept getting display errors. Finally had to do a fresh install of OS. Hell it needed to be done anyway. Reinstalled original drivers from ATI disk and BINGO it's all good.
No. But I will try. Do you have the 9200 card? Point is, it is not supposed to have ever worked..I had read that only the 9500 and up will work. Thanks for the suggestion.
I don’t understand, maybe someone can explain it to me. I have a AMD Athlon XP 2600 - 2133 MHz - 512 memory - With a All-In-Wonder 9200 ATI Radeon card. WindowBlinds 5 has worked fine since it came out. Yesterday, for other reason than windowblinds, I updated my card driver from 5.1 to 6.1. Now WB does not work. I tried to switch back but that did not work ether.
I use tabs for programs only. I use the regular dock for the task. One for start button(With my own custom icon). One for tray, and one for task tray. I turn the back-ground transparent-Take the icons down to a smaller size, then stop the zoom. Works just like a real taskbar, except no background at all. My tab dock for programs is at the top of my screen. I really like this layout. Try it. lol <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Congra
Thank's for the update. Miss it bad
Just curious. Are we talking about "ObjectDock" or "ObjectBar"? ObjectDock does not come with Object Desktop! And your title says ObjectBar.
I use it with "DesktopX". In settings-Desktop-Work area, I set the bottom to "15". DesktopX uses a lot of resources so I would like to find something else. WinFX is not an option for me as it messes up WB.(When are we going to get an upgrade?) Even with all other options turned off. I had a freeware program for sizing windows but cannot find it now . Google produced so
Good go, Corky O, We must have been typing at the same time. Your advice sounds A lot Better than mine
Check your "HOT SPOTS" tab. It's just under the general selection tab in OD properties. Select each spot and on the pull-down tab select "Do nothing with to this tabbed dock". Hope this helps. I find that OD is a bit buggy, But uses less Mem. than any other app of this sort. I even use it for my taskbar.
Been wanting to try my hand at skinning, but SKS has been crashing on me since I bought Object Desktop two years ago, Funny, did not have trouble till I paid out the cash. I understand this sould have nothing to do with SKS. Still, I am happy with OD. Thanks a bunch to brewman and others. Still I would like to try my hand at skinning WB.
Merry Christmas to WinCustomize Brad and everyone else out there. I would especially like to thank all the Skinners, Merry Christmas All.
Thanks for the tips.
Pretty_Green_Eyes_by_cabre.jpg Google If you cant find it I can E-mail it to you.
I was trying on skins the other day and I believe I came across a double taskbar default. You can change this in WB preferences- User Overrides- Advance Settings. Hope this helps
